2) Who's your OCs best friend? How did they become best friends?
Sloane: she has a hard time hanging onto friends long enough to consider them "best friends".
Mark: Tuck. but tuck is also mark's only close friend. and also is his partner. they met when tuck found him scrungled and wet-eyed in the middle of an animal attack investigation; meet-cute for the ages
Everett: could he even consider silas a friend? could he even consider indigo a friend? could he even consider tooth a friend? could he even consider debello a f--
Rye: it's niko, whether she wants it or not
Kenny: Icarus. one could say they met through work. he does consider himself friends with the rest of the party too, but his friendship with ick isn't marred by a recently-fixed burned bridge.

8) What hobbies does your OC have? What do they do to unwind?
Sloane: she doesn't know how to unwind, too much pent up stress. She'd explode
Mark: long walks out in the woods where no one can talk to him for hours at a time
Everett: recently he's really been getting into "seeking out experiences" and "spending time with others on purpose"
Rye: i don't think they know how to unwind either, but for the opposite reason of sloane (too much energy)
Kenny: he used to be a prolific reader, and he's been enjoying getting back into that recently. Also walks in the park.
9) How does your OC handle their physical health? Do they take care of themselves?
Sloane: if it ain't broke it's fine enough to walk on
Mark: not great. He's malnourished and unkempt and way too anxious to even think about seeing a doctor ever
Everett: he's never really had to before. Used to be if his body got damaged beyond repair it would just revert to goop and he'd just have to form himself a new one.
Rye: before they died, they employed more of a "no prablem" philosophy to their self care
Kenny: he tries his best to take good care of himself. Getting de-aged by 15 years helped.
10) How does your OC handle their mental health? Do they take care of themselves?
Sloane: substance abuse 👍
Mark: substance abuse 👍
Everett: the body keeps the score, but the body is disposable
Rye: this manic episode is fuunnnn it's fiiiiiiiinneeee
Kenny: genuinely probably the best mental health out of all of them, which is saying a lot because the bar is so low. Counseling could help him a lot actually.
11) What was your inspiration for your OC?
Sloane: a long iterative chain of incorporating a broad shouldered mean woman into my various tabletop games
Mark: mark wasn't inspired so much as he grew inside the folds of my brain over the course of several decades like some sort of lichen
Everett: what if the worst youtuber streamer influencer you knew was also an ancient eldritch being who equates fandom with worship
Rye: started out as an easter egg for me to reboot an old oc of mine in a motw session where they would most likely die, but then I got attached and wanted to find a way to resurrect them in canon. Hence: living gun
Kenny: I took a fragment of my soul and put it inside a silly, one-dimensional oneshot character. And now look what's happened.
12) Does your OC interact with other people's OC? If so, who's their best OC friend?
Sloane: there's a lot of different ways i could answer this, but i think Sebastian is the only person she regularly interacts with who doesn't immediately spike her cortisol on sight
Mark: he loves tuck so much. He'll bark at anyone for them
Everett: indigo's gonna get his ass real good someday and then it'll all be over for him
Rye: rye would say Niko. Niko would probably say no the fuck not.
Kenny: probably still icarus. See #2
13) Does your OC have a rival? How did it start?
Sloane: Alice. This room isn't big enough for two grouchy butches with large guns at the same time
Mark: who is that other dog on the mirror. Who is he
Everett: grenadine, probably
Rye: there were other rival assassins, but he's been gradually helping niko hunt them down and eat them
Kenny: nah, rivalry isn't his speed.
14) Who's a character your OC cannot stand! It's on sight when they see them!
Sloane: please let it be baldy's dad, i need her to kick his ass so fucking bad
Mark: Kenny. Something about the guy just makes his skin crawl
Everett: i don't know yet! Looking forward to the first person who genuinely sets him off
Rye: that fucking dog man who ate him ):<
Kenny: any personal beef he's ever had with someone has probably since been washed away
15) Will your OC ever retire? Do you see them making it?
Sloane: she'll probably die in the field if she has anything to say about it
Mark: he's honestly surprised he's survived this long. Retirement has never really been a concern for him.
Everett: retirement is for giving up the hustle.
Rye: Well, seeing as they were forced out of their profession by being killed,
Kenny: he's already retired once. Maybe the second time will actually stick
16) How's their relationship with their parents? Are they alive?
Sloane: Dead. Unmourned. It is what it is.
Mark: They’re fine, but they'd never understand what happened to him. He stays out of contact for everyone's sake.
Everett: never had any. No desire to have had any.
Rye: Never knew them. Foster parents were hit or miss. Doesn't think too hard about it.
Kenny: Both dead of old age. He was fond of them, though they could be a bit distant at times.

I originally designed him as "just a guy but also dog" for plot reasons in his original iteration in the whatabouttherift era, and then when i redrew his ref for his oh curses! era i just kept that original design but slightly to the left because i didn't know exactly how he fit in with his updated backstory yet. But now i DO and HE NEEDS TO BE MORE CREATURE ABOUT IT
i was possessed by the deep desire to figure out what dogmark's cat Flea looks like, so here he is. the perfect boy. his favorite toys are Bottle Cap, Spring, and Scrungly Felt Mouse.

10/10 he's a very private person, but just the phrasing would have him so taken aback he might not even be able to answer if he tried, LMAO
For the record, he has a very powerful sense of smell, and he does get the impulse to bark at and chase things and roll in roadkill, but he's too self conscious to ever actually sniff someone's butt.
