Oops logged back into Subeta and redid my pet lineup again - I may also have basically turned them into a very large D&D party with some Weird Friends. …Like these two new ones I sketched last night.
Unnamed top is a nightmare Magnus, I’m sure it is very common to make one a living gargoyle, but I don’t care, that’s the route I’m going! They were a statue in a graveyard that came to life when the graveyard was destroyed. Like most first sketches this was a lot of figuring out the body, and I came up with some design ideas (can’t blink or shift eyebrows to make facial expressions, wings don’t really work, discounting that teeth would probably not be carved under a statue’s muzzle, the usual). They don’t have a name yet.
Bottom left is Lochan, who will be an Experiment #932, specifically the chibi version because adorable eyeless/eyes-on-hand monster! General idea is this is a baby version of a monster the party takes in because That’s What You Do as a D&D party!
Bottom right is very old art of my spectrum Dragarth, Alecai. I mostly still like this piece except the wing, ohhhh dear the wing! I’d also use a brighter white for his base color. Probably he’ll get retrofitted as an NPC since he’s just a kid, we’ll see.
