sooooo I am curious about smth.... in a crossover au of sorts how do you think our respective Old Guard OCs would get along?? 👉👈🌹

Oh, a multiversal adventure?? Honestly I think they'd get along just fine because Lexa's very much outside of the main group so there's not really that baggage there (because even in another universe I imagine Joan's feelings towards the Old Guard are still just as complicated), and she'd also pick up on the fact Joan's struggling more than she's letting on - months of trying to help Booker with his depression means she notices when someone's struggling, and she'd probably try to help Joan too because of course finding out that if not for a twist of fate you wouldn't have had to deal with immortality alone is gonna fuck with your head....and they'd probably also bond over their shared 'get this man some goddamn therapy' goal.

Also the fact that they both want to stay out of the fighting as much as possible is another common interest - Lexa never becomes part of the Old Guard proper because she was a soldier once before many years ago, but it wasn't right then and it's not right now, so she appreciates someone else also having a relatively normal life and is fairly supportive of that!

Hello! Your palette colour choice is absolutely unique and striking! If I may ask, is the COTL OC Joan based on the Joan of the Arc? Just curious. Will you be doing any piece based on the time before the sheep purge, or just pre-Lamb ones? Have a good week and sleep early plenty! Drink water.

Thank you!! :D And indeed, my OC is based on Joan d'Arc story. In fact, my Joan is also 19 years old and was executed. Not only that, both Joans didn't make it to achieve their purpose, but their actions caused a big impact. A bit of the irony is that my OC became "the chosen one" once she died instead of when she was alive.

About the sheepfolk, I'd like to imagine they had their own beliefs and traditions, but the Old Faith forced them to forget. Same went to the rest of the creatures (except for the steenboks. Leshy gave them some benefits for their work). Perhaps I will dedicate a post about those old times.

When Joan was around there were still a few lambs, trying to survive and to find a way to escape from the hell they had been living. How? Well, that's a story for another day 👀
