while on the estate, marlowe often struggles to sleep due to her nerve pain and the threat felt from her host. lysander also struggles to sleep during this time due to thinking much too hard about what it implies to defy orders and stop poisoning her, so they spend much of the night together talking

#oc marlowe #oc lysander #trying to add little lore things to posts to explain more about the characters #my dear lysander who has spent 800 years killing on command then meets an old butch and has a crisis of morals #they do poison her for a while and it does give her nausea pins and needles and worse pain but #well marlowe got the big physical trauma including having her spine snapped in half at the mid back so whats some more numbness gunna matte #her steps are very carefully taken so she doesnt stumble so dizziness isnt going to matter. nausea is an accompaniment to the pain she gets #lysander feels much worse about it than her. shes unsure they even gave her an effective dose #*given shes worse off anyway due to not having access to her meds or proper maintenance for her spinal augment #[spoiler: she was not taking her meds or doing maintenance properly in the first place. its been rough for a while]
