Ora!

The first of a handful of experiments I did! I've always wanted to use my paper sketches as my lines for digital art, but I don't have a scanner!

This is a test on getting things to work right with what I have (: It actually went pretty well! I photographed the sketch, fiddled about to make it transparent, then colored and touched up the lines digitally.

Magical Boys WIP - Writing Excerpt 1/?

Billy meets a rather peculiar pixie.

Ora lets out an exasperated breath, blowing her coral red hair out of her face. “I have a sore back.”

“Why?”

She looks at him with the most vacant and weary eyes he’s ever seen and deadpans, “Because I’m old, Billy.”

The prospect of growing up has never terrified him as much as it has just now.
