Hello there! My name is Astrophel. I'm a 21 year old college student on EST and I've been roleplaying on various platforms for about 10 years now. I'm specifically looking for Gravity Falls and Genshin Impact roleplays. I have three detailed plots (one for GF and two for Genshin) that I'll list below.
As for my roleplaying style, I tend to lean toward an abundance of paragraphs often reaching the Discord Nitro character limit. I'd say I usually do somewhere around five to ten on average, depending on my partner. If you supply me with a lot to write off of, I tend to give you a lot to go off on in return!
Here are some basics I'd like to get out of the way before I present my fandoms and plots:
I'm an LGBTQ+ person and don't really have interest in straight ships. I don't mind portraying them on the side, but I'd rather it not be the main ship we write together.
While I don't want to be a stickler about writing a set amount of paragraphs each time, I need at least a paragraph or more to go off of. I simply cannot write based off of one-liners.
I love inserting romance into my roleplays, though I don't often like it being the main point of the roleplay. Preferably, we would write a more slowburn-esque romance between our two characters.
Preferably, my roleplay partner is someone who wants to develop a detailed plotline with me. I prefer my roleplays to be stories we're writing together rather than a rush to romance.
I'm okay with OCs but generally I prefer OCxOC rather than OCxCanon. However, I'm not completely opposed to it either if things get interesting between them!
aka Bill Cipher's Long and Arduous Redemption Arc
Muses: Bill Cipher, Dipper Pines, Mabel Pines, Wendy Corduroy, Melody, and potentially more.
Potential Ships: I'd like this plotline to either focus on past Billford and future reconciliation between the two of them or alternatively focus on past Billford and future romance between Billdip. Also open to ships such as Dipifica (if we're going with future Billford), Mabifica (if we're going with future Billdip), Melsoos, and maybe OC ships.
Post-canon taking place after the events of the Book of Bill. After about a decade of traveling the world, Stanely and Stanford return home to the Mystery Shack to retire for good. Under Soo and Melody's management, the place is still a staple of Gravity Falls and the two Stans find themselves fitting back in nicely. While he's no longer Mr. Mystery, Stan still enjoys giving the odd tour or helping Soos with ideas for attractions and Ford still has his own research to return to in the basement. The twins visit in the summer between their college semesters and also enjoy having their grunkles around the shack again.
Nothing in Gravity Falls ever goes well for too long though. The Stans are barely back in town for a month before Ford receives a letter from the Theraprism stating that they're at their wits end with rehabilitating one Bill Cipher. They've tried all the tricks in the book and nothing seems to be working, so the next big idea is to give him some exposure therapy in the form of requesting the Pines family play babysitter for a while. Of course, there's a large monetary reward in for them as well should they accept this responsibility. The debate between Stan and Ford lasts for days, but in the end, Stan is easily swayed by money and Ford is (albeit reluctantly) a bit intrigued by the thought of his arch-nemesis and former muse being trapped on earth without any power. However, Dipper absolutely despises the idea while Mabel is always an optimist and looking forward to the idea of helping a demon on his path to redemption.
With the decision made, Ford signs the letter from the Theraprism and, within seconds, a humanized Bill Cipher devoid of any power is dropped into their living room. Thus, another summer full of weird and interesting occurrences officially begins in Gravity Falls.
Plot 1
aka Sumeru's Plight Against the Abyss
Muses: Kaveh, Alhaitham, Dehya, Nilou, Sethos, Collei, Tighnari, Nahida, Faruzan, Dori
Potential Ships: Haikaveh, Cynonari, Sethoscara, Candehya or Dehyalou
Cyberpunk AU based on Progenitor. The surface of Teyvat has become contaminated by the abyss, forcing many nations to hide underground. Neo-Inazuma City is one of Teyvat's last bastions on the surface, along with the newly built Neo-Sumeru City which is controlled by the Akademiya, ruled by a synthetic human named Nahida. In order to survive, Neo-Sumeru City has re-established the Akasha System they had once discarded, repurposing it into a knowledge network as well as an alarm system, communication network, and more. Neo-Sumeru City has also begun working with Neo-Inazuma City in order to combat the abyss and someday re-establish complete control of Teyvat.
Within the Akademiya, Nahida works closely with the members of her nation to reach this goal. Although he's adamant that the position is only temporary, Alhaitham serves as her right hand man, overseeing the development of technology to combat the abyssal threat as well as the war itself. Meanwhile, Cyno acts as her general, Kaveh as an engineer, Dehya as a mercenary, Faruzan as a military instructor, and Sethos as reconnaissance, as well as communicating with Neo-Inazuma City on their behalf. With Sumeru's best helping her out, surely Nahida can one day turn the tides of this war in their favor.
Plot 2
aka Captain Dehya's Siren Hunt
Muses: Kaveh, Alhaitham, Dehya, Nilou, Sethos, Collei, Tighnari, Nahida, Faruzan, Dori
Potential Ships: Haikaveh, Candehya, Cynonari, Sethoscara
Captain Dehya is known worldwide around Teyvat for her ship, The Golden Vow, and its feats. She slayed the last kraken ever spotted in the waters of Teyvat and, to this day, her crew continues to rid the oceans of evils. With her quartermaster, Candace, and navigator, Alhaitham, Captain Dehya is a force to be reckoned with and the devil herself to monsters everywhere. Other members of the crew include Cyno, the boatswain, Tighnari, the doctor/surgeon, Dori, the accountant, Faruzan, the master gunner, Scaramouche, the carpenter, and Sethos who tends to be seen as an errand boy. Nahida and Nilou are regular crewmates whereas Layla is a junior navigator.
On a return trip to Port Ormos, the crew overhears rumors of sirens spotted in the waters recently. Long thought to be extinct, sirens are legendary beasts and the thought of hunting one easily sways the crew to stay for a few days. They spend the next week or so sailing around and finally spot a few sirens (one of which is Kaveh). As the rumors have been proven true, the crew officially launches into siren hunting mode. It's time to rid the world of those monsters once and for all.
