Slugnet Gacha Game - In a hypothetical jpeg gacha game, what would your characters be? A simple question, yet one that has absolutely hooked me. Been having an absolutel BLAST making these. And they're proper diddy arts. Genuinely the size of a playing card.
🎹 Does your character have any unexpected talents?
Samiel is a bit of a blank slate, but yea he's constantly finding out new things. I think the main one that he's proud of is locomotion cos he used to be a blob slime and now he's got legs. I think the pne that others would find unexpected is he's a natural at rhymes and poetry once he understands the concept.

🕺 If you could place your character in a time period other than the one they currently exist in, when would it be?
I mean, he's in two already XD both somewhat roughly medieval fantasy and now in Shadowrun as well. I think he'd want to go back to like. Prehistoric times. And just be a weird slime man on his own. Sometime he can just exist and not have to worry about shit.
⛈️ How does your character feel about thunderstorms?
Marty in all universes is ambivalent. She finds them fun and cool, but also she's been caught out in them too many times. Fun to watch from indoors. Hellish if she's working. Makes things slippy. Makes her cold. Makes her damp and wet n sopping beasty.
RR thinks they're the tightest shit. They get good views if he gets a recording during one. Loves the bass rumble and the general charge in the air. He's a silly bean at times like that. He blames the static in the air makes him feel jittery and hopped up. Perfect to do some stims on top for fun.
👶 Is the way your character was treated when they were younger considerably different from the way they're treated now?
Marty is a yeaa.... And for the better now. But she always comes from a working class family, borderline poverty but they make it work. To varying success depending on setting and vibe. But she grows up as a bright young lass who just doesn't have access to the education she desires. Always on the outside group of learning. But she learns other things and applies herself other ways. Dealt with the snobs and dickheads that said she couldn't do it. And now she's somewhat respected? Definitely a hands on expert in her field whatever she ends up doooiiiiing. (Dungeon delving or Burglary in her main two cases).
And Roid.. yea he gets treated differently too. Grew up as the son of a cyberware surgeon, part of a respected family in the Triad. Emigrated to Seattle from HK after they ended up picking up some heat at home. Lived a comfortable life where no one said no to him. And then things bit the family in the ass. Their past caught up and only him and his dad survived. He gained an unhealthy obsession with Cyberware, and while he could easily afford to have natural looking limbs, he doesn't want that. He uses the same bits of tech, but has it customised so that it's obvious he's got full body ware. And there's a lot of different treatment just off the back of making that statement. That and the way HE treats people like ass means they are often a lot more hostile towards him now.
