I love all my characters but currently obsessed with Thea.
I just. How do I explain that this poor child got roped into expectations far too big for them that they could never really live up to and now she has to repeatedly question the integrity of every authority figure around her? Only to be constantly disappointed and shocked? Even after the countless chances these people get??
And then they STILL choose kindness. They still remain fundamentally good. While also being forced to never return home and live with all this guilt while trying to rebuild a new life in a world totally unfamiliar to them??
I love Thea. They’re so strong.
