Meet Weston (West for short), He’s a homeschooled witch

 and Instead of werewolves there are weremorphs who change into their spirit animal

Weston turns into a Bobcat , but he specializes in potion and Bard magic 

(the tip of the star on his staff is a dropper for the rare potion he keeps inside the star)
