🌈 Does your OC speak more than one language? If so, how many and which? Zogar speaks Calcian, because he was raised there, and Zatagaran, spoken at home, and a few Ptolisian words just because he was friends with a Lanoist monk, and that's what they speak at temple. He picks up Nivendrian from Aethel, the vampire who turned him. He learns Old Southern Calcian from Neru, his first turn, due to his connection to original Calcian paganism. Lot of time to learn when you're dead.

🌧️ What is the favorite thing for you OC to do on a rainy day? Things settle down eventually. Not entirely, but enough. Enough for him to wander through a town, or a city, and catch the different flavors. Rain has a way of changing people, in a deep yet temporary way. They talk, they act, they live differently, and he can taste it. The cafes brew different coffee. The bookstores sell different books. The templegoers chant different prayers. He goes out there with them, just to taste it.

Real life backstory of the name: I was playing a shitty mmo a looooong time ago and needed a cool sounding name and VampireZogar was it

In fiction backstory: He, like his father, raised horses. What he didn't know is that his father was an immortal warlord from a faroff land, now in hiding. This immortal warlord was not a vampire, and that made him especially interesting to the vampires. When they eventually found him, he was too powerful to capture alive, so they had to kill him and his wife.

Now sweet baby Zogar doesn't take too kindly to his family being murdered by an army of monsters, so he goes to his best buddy in the whole wide world, Brother Swan, because he knows that "Brother Swan" is an alias that the son of the king is using so he can practice his monastic studies in peace. "bro," he says, "there's an army of ghoul things IN THE KINGDOM right now. They killed my parents, will you swing some clout with your dad's army so I can get revenge"

"Bro, revenge is not the way," Swan says, "but spookie ghoulies is actually high key serious so yes I will go talk to my dad."

Now behind the scenes, the princess vampire Veldesette is like "holy shit Zatar of Zatagar (Zogar's dad) had a kid????? HE CAN DO THAT???? we gotta find this kid he might have inherited The Shadow of The Black Dragon (dun dun dun)"

"bet," said Aethel. And she went to seduce that guy. It worked :) She did not, however, enjoy watching Science and Dark Majicks happen to her new favorite life size action figure, so, in an act of TREMENDOUS DEFIANCE to her master, she turned that guy into a fucken vampo

In busts Swan with the power of god and 100 men at arms on his side. "YOU HAVE NO POWER IN THE LIGHT OF OUR LORD!" Swan declared in fictionalized christianity. The vampires kinda cowered for a minute before Veldesette, being strong as fuck, monstered up. Swan wavered for but a moment, and that was enough to see his soldiers mauled before him.

"Get me the fuck out of here," Zogar said, "bro my tummy hurst but I am being so brave about it. bls"

"Foul creature???? you fucking tricked me into bringing these loyal few to be food for you and your yucky ghoulies??? I fell for a trap??? I hate," Swan said, "YOUUU????"

🐁 Capybaras are friend-shaped. What shape does your OC have? Zogar is a tallish, reasonably fit, humanoid guy, when he is a human. After becoming a vampire, he became somewhat more nebulous. Early on he is generally bound to his human form, with an emotionally driven transformation into a shadowy, winged biped, with tattered edges of material darkness. Toward his more elder vampire years, he is entirely in control of the psychic illusion that is his body, and he is as vast as anywhere he has experienced.

📚 Your OC has to improvise a 10 minute lecture about a topic of their choosing. What do they chose? The inherent goodness (both in flavor and moral fiber) of the human soul.

🕐 Was there ever a time your OC would have given everything to turn back the clock 5 minutes? What happened? Swan had the deity of the lake at his mercy, drank of its blood, and became something of a vampire himself. Zogar could have stopped him, but he stood by and watched, because Swan had already betrayed him once, and he was glad to see him fall. He didn't anticipate the political and religious power Swan would harness then, or what he would make of human kind.

🌳Would your OC survive for a week on their own in the wilderness? Fun question! When Zogar was a human* yeah, not particularly well, but he'd manage. As a young vampire howevever, fuck no! Manz is heavily reliant on da red stuff at this time, he's fiending hardcore, he's in a bad way about it. As a mature vamp, yea he'd go a week ez.

🤝 Does your OC have someone they want at their side when they are scared? Who? This fuckin guy. Zogar wants to keep tabs on the polycule at all times just in case. Like he trusts them, but if something were to happen... yaknow. but if we're getting specific probably Aethel, the one who turned him; Neru, his first turned; Alexandro, musical accompaniment; and Swan, the guy whose fault it probably is that any of them have something to worry about.
