🍓  winston is selectively mute ! he’s been experiencing it since he was a child and though he made pretty significant strides in terms of confidence and fear ,management, speech is always a bit of a discomfort for him since he also has a stutter. he’s very happy with speaking in sign language for the most part, and he’s a good teacher so those of his companions who aren’t great with it, end up picking it up pretty quickly with his help. 

🍓 nova has a pet skeever named dolly! and yes, the skeever is COMPLETELY untrained, aggressive, and feral, but nova loves her all the same :) 

🍓 freya always makes me sad because she has been COMPLETELY nomadic and alone her entire life, and has never had a desire to join a community or befriend anyone because she’s always felt so Other. but she really DID feel connected to the family in the dark brotherhood, and was finally feeling accepted and understood with them. she was also just starting to come out of her shell in terms of like. eating w the others and asking them questions about themselves when They Were All Killed So :) that really was the last nail in the coffin for her basically, she completely shut herself off from everyone after that, even people she COULD have cared for, like serana :( makes me sad man

🍓  bryce has a HUGE scar on the left side of his face (his left lmao) from a dragon attack that nearly killed him. basically he convinced his parents to let him accompany his uncle (fergus) on a hunting party, and ended up sneaking away from camp after night to kill the dragon. most people assume hes just VERY stupid and its not something he tries to refute, but that decision was more to do with him being self destructive than anything. anyway. he survived with one hell of a scar and a really good story to tell at parties (and he tells it. every chance he gets dfdfkjdk). he also doesnt care about the scar, he thinks it makes him look more interesting lmao
