I think I'll go with Chelisstrae for these :]
Expanding on this I think Cheli is also there for all the prey stuff (it's good for training) but they're decidedly more normal about it. The freaks are in the background probably licking blood off each other or something while they ponder what to buy with their accumulated [Remnant of Anguish]es
Cheli lore before I leave
They were born to a commoner's family around 1,260 years before suramar was opened to the world, but over some few hundred years managed to entrench themselves into the upper echelons of Shal'dorei society through their singing and leylyre playing. They abandoned their old Family's name early on and for most of their adult life they were known simply as Chelisstrae Ballad-master. However, things took a turn for the worse for them when, after the Legion's arrival, they'd started losing approval with the house that currently sponsored them, and after dozens of hastily written up ballads and sonnets full of desperate praise, they were unceremoniously tossed out into the wilds outside of Suramar on accusations of treason. Of course the accusations were false, while they weren't the largest fans of the Legion they certainly weren't stupid enough to give voice to those thoughts, but that didn't matter when the lord of the house took offense at the special attention his wife was giving them. (though they never reciprocated her advances it was still enough to draw his ire)
Out in the wilds, Chelisstrae stood little chance of survival. After all they were but a musician, and one that had lead a rather cushy life in the past few hundred years at that, certainly not someone with actual combat experience. In this desperation they reached out to fel magic, which they'd only seen in use before but never practiced. While they were nowhere near a master of it, their minimal skill was enough to catch the attention of a demon hunter they'd encountered later on (one that had saved them from a patrolling contingent of felborne). And after some begging on Chelisstrae's part they'd managed to convince the illidari to take them along to be taught their ways.
They learned remarkably quickly after that, eager as ever to please their new masters. And while they did improve somewhat in martial combat, their true prowess stood in their fel venomancy, which was a blend of the unstructured fel use they'd picked up in the wilds and the instinctual venom use of the insectoid demon soul they'd fused with. Their primary weapon became a scythe, which drew them into a strange sort of competitive companionship with Allari the souleater. And after the Legion's defeat they were assigned to be the student of the Slayer.
Theyre a strange elf, circumstance molded them into a ruthless warmage but they still retain much of the mannerisms they'd learned in the high courts, and they can still be rather fussy about their appearance. They still enjoy music despite everything, and while they haven't been able to source a proper leylyre just yet, they still enjoy writing songs about and for their fellow demon hunters. They're rather ambivalent towards Illidan Stormrage and are more familiar with Kayn's leadership, but they've written some few songs about him too (mostly at the request of the others). Their relationship with Allari consists of friendly rivalry, eager to reach her level and then surpass her. They've written their fair share of both praising and praiseless songs about her (and some short love poems that no one needs to know of). They are motivated largely by spite, and a deep affection for their fellows, whose deeper hatred for the Legion they've since absorbed and adopted. Their insectoid soul has also given rise to the habit of climbing on walls and ceilings, as well nesting in dark corners. Chelisstrae is glad to travel the world with their new teacher, and is excited at the prospect of seeing new places after having lived their entire life in one place.
Important to note that the dynamic between Cheli and their imp is that of a bored cat and it's still alive prey crossed with a rich person and their overdecorated purse dog
