they absolutely hold grudges, but generally only if they haven't gotten some sort of apology that matched the magnitude of the wrong committed. If someone does something to piss them off without making up for it they'll hold on to that grudge until the end of time. They don't tend to retaliate, mostly they'll just grumble about it to whoever they think will be sympathetic enough not to tell the other person that someone is talking behind their back. Though if personal enough And it's something that the other party could get in trouble for they'll definitely tattle to whatever authority figure applies in that scenario. It's less about forgiveness or kindness, moreso they just want to keep the status quo intact except in cases where they can improve their current standing with those in charge.

If asked Cheli would say they do believe in second chances but in practice it's pretty conditional. Due to spending most of their life subservient to various nobility they've internalized that second chances can only be earned through constant groveling and quietly accepting whatever punishment is doled out. They personally don't expect any such treatment from peers but if they feel that they've wronged someone that's higher up on the ladder than them they will absolutely start fawning.

Quietly. They have a habit of attempting to appease whoever rejected them by doing things for them unasked, but this can get uncomfortable in more personal situations since it may come off as them trying to make the other person change their mind (in a professional/workplace setting that might actually be the case but in more interpersonal situations like with friendships or romantic relationships it's more likely that they're just doing it out of a force of habit)

They tend to blame themselves for not being prepared or not expecting whatever happens, even in scenarios where they had little actual chance of changing the outcome. It's not something they dwell on in most cases, to them it's just a simple fact that whatever it was that happened is somehow in some capacity their own fault. They'll just have to be more observant, more adaptable, more resilient next time around

genuinely used to be just "IF IT SUCKS... HIT DA BRICKS!!" Before it joined cartel Ba. It used to try and get as far as possible away from whatever pushed it to getting overwhelmed, and in the worst circumstances would even straight up invent a new identity in an attempt to escape. Amin was its fourth and final name over the years, and only stuck due to the permanence in identity that came with aligning oneself to a cartel.

Now post devouring war it no longer goes as far as reinventing itself from the ground up, but it still wanders off on occasion. At most for a couple of days if the situation is particularly stressful, but usually its sated by just a few hours alone outside. If it's possible it'll ask for assignments conveniently away from whatever or whoever is causing the stress

At any rate the cartel has far too much blackmail information on it for it to be able to truly just disappear again. Ba'amin is staying, whether it wants to or not.

Besides the perfectly healthy behavior outlined above, It's work ethic is not the best, though when it actually focuses on a task it can be scarily successful. It's not too great at doing jobs that it finds unfun or dull, it's shifts at the P.O.S.T are quite boring in it's opinion and its attempts at shaking things up every now and then tend not to be appreciated

They've broken plenty of promises under past names. But Amin in comparison has a relatively clean record. While it might procrastinate a bit (quite a bit at times) on a given task or request it'll still end up finishing it eventually. When it comes to personal requests it tends to take them a bit more seriously than just another job for the elders
