This marks the end of a long project of mine in which I, for silly reasons, wanted to draw at least one completely finished art piece for all of my characters that have playlists associate with them. These, three, however, are a unit - named after the "Dead Three" from the Forgotten Realms D&D setting because my boy Fletcher is a huge TTRPG nerd. hahaha
Anyways- Each of them has a superpower!
Fletcher: Raising and controlling the dead, but only those he touches before they pass.
Fallan: Force-fields! She may or may not have come close to accidentally ending her journey early as a result of it when she was a baby ^ ^T
Pixie: Precognition, specifically tied to tarot cards. She doesn't consider it much of a power, but little does she know that it has a lot more potential than first gleamed upon the surface.
I've had these three in my head and in my heart for nearly a decade now, in Fallan's case even longer, and I love them so much. <3 I hope you do as well!
I've been doing a lot of OC art lately, and here's why!! ^ U ^ My collection is finally complete!
Basically, got every major character that I write for or draw often, I tend to make a playlist of music that suits them and helps get me in the spirit of their stories (I sometimes also have ones for the stories/campaigns in particular too if their particularly ambitious). So for each one I've had I've been making it my current goal to replace the whatever images that were there to mark their playlists with ones actually *of* those characters in particular, sometimes with their buddies or in an environment or AU I particularly liked for them. Now, finally, it's done!
It's been very satisfying to look back on and a great motivator to study and improve my designs as I've gone through them. Next up, I plan on doing the plot/story specific playlists too... But maybe after I take a break to handle a few other smaller projects along the way! haha
