My friends found this helpful so I thought I'd post it here too. More ramblings under the cut :]

So when you start out drawing you usually draw limbs as more undefined rectangles which makes it really hard to figure out plus size bodies because you basically have to change the entire way you go about drawing a body. The limbs- especially the legs- are genuinely the hardest part to make look right when you're learning and no one talks about it. I wanted to point out exactly what makes it so hard when you're learning, it would seem obvious to people who are used to drawing different body types and so no one ever explicitly tells you to do this but it's something that would've been so helpful for me to hear.
