Dion’s love languages when it comes to giving are definitely physical touch and words of affection. He always wants to be close…holding Spencer Rae’s hand, pulling her into cuddles, leaning on her shoulder, or kissing her whenever he gets the chance. He often pairs that with his dramatic flair for words, constantly calling her silly sweet pet names, showering her with compliments, and reminding her how much he adores her. >w<💞

When it comes to receiving, Dion secretly thrives on reassurance and affirmation. For someone who comes off as so confident and flirty, he carries a lot of buried insecurities. (Poor flirty Spanish baby 💔💔💔) Spencer Rae often tells him she loves him, that she believes in him, or even complimenting his art or cooking goes straight to his heart. He also values quality time whether it’s fancy dates or just being around each other having a conversation, what matters to him is simply being with her. And though he likes to act like he’s always the one initiating affection, the truth is he gets flustered and soft anytime Spencer Rae surprises him with a kiss or reaches for him first.

As for his idea of a “perfect date,” it really depends on the mood. Dion is naturally drawn to grand romantic gestures, he’s the type to plan a date on a hot air balloon or take Spencer Rae to a museum gala just to show her off. But he’s also deeply attentive, and when she’s having a rough day, his idea of “perfect” shifts into something cozy and quiet. Whatever makes Spencer Rae happy makes him happy as well <3

So overall, Dion is the kind of partner who balances over the top romance with surprising tenderness when needed. To everyone else, he might seem like the dramatic flirty type, but with Spencer Rae, he shows a softer more vulnerable side. Shshhssh my mannn.. 🩷

what was the first meeting like? how did you two end up together? and on a day like this, what would dion do to try and lift your spirits?

Thank you so much for your support, oh my gosh, yesterday has just been absolutely horrible. (I went to sleep after answering the thirst three asks) I’m really trying my best to get better. For now, I’m just surrounding myself with the warmth and comfort of my F/Os, that’s all. 😭💔

As for how Dion and Spencer Rae first met… okay, I’ll talk about my self-insert in the third person since some of the things she does, I obviously haven’t done myself, lol. So, Dion first spotted Spencer Rae at an ice cream shop while he was walking by, searching for a new muse to give him artistic inspiration since he loves finding random women and asking to draw them. He then saw her stop time, and unlike everyone else, he wasn’t affected. (Part of his power) Still, he pretended to stay frozen and quietly watched as she mischievously stole a bunch of ice cream, poured some on a random guy’s head, and then danced her way out in victory. Dion was immediately intrigued… her strange behavior amused him, and since his job involved recruiting people with powers into his crime organization, he decided to follow her.

Over the next few days, he witnessed a string of her antics: stealing food, wiping boogers on people (classy), digging into purses for cash, and snatching hats, wigs, or fake mustaches to plop onto unsuspecting strangers while she froze time. Sometimes she even used scary masks to freak people out. For the most part, Spencer Rae used her powers to entertain herself and do things she wouldn’t have the confidence to do without. Dion couldn’t help but notice how often she stole food (the girl was hungry, what can I say). Eventually, he approached her directly and told her he knew about her powers. She panicked and denied it, but of course, he saw straight through her. He was a mind reader after all. From there, he led her back to the Crimson Hand crime organization, where she officially joined the group.

As for how they became a couple: it started with lighthearted flirting and spending time together. Dion eventually confessed first because he knew Spencer Rae’s fear of rejection meant she would never be the one to take that step. He went way out with it too while presenting a massive painted portrait of her and saying, “This is how I see you.” He described her as this beautiful woman, flaws and all, and told her that in his eyes she was perfect. Spencer Rae was completely thrown off flustered, embarrassed, and making incoherent noises because she wasn’t used to being praised or seen in that kind of light. She also may have had a slight panic attack too do to being extremely overwhelmed by the situation. But still, it’s not every day your crush paints you like one of his French girls, so she accepted his confession after her little break down, and just like that, they were together. I mean how could she refuse after he painted a giant ass painting of herself? Anyways despite the over the top confession they tried to take things slow to make sure Spencer Rae was comfortable because she’s never been in a romantic relationship before while Dion has. So he was very understanding and gave her the time she needed to adjust before he they got more serious. 🫶🏻💕

And finally, for bad days, Dion tends to comfort Spencer Rae in quieter, subtle ways. (Unlike his massive love confession for her lmao) He’ll cook for her, quesadillas are one of her favorites, run his fingers through her hair, and cuddle up with her on the couch while a comedy movie plays in the background. He understands that big, overwhelming gestures only make her anxious, so instead he focuses on creating small, cozy moments of comfort. That’s just who he is with her, he knows what she needs, and he adjusts for her. 🫶🏻💘

You've probably told me a hundred times, but what's Dion's job again? It's almost 2am, so my memory sucks. I could ask on Discord, but you wanted asks so... I'll ask here.

Heyyy! So Dion technically lives a dual life… or, well, in his case, a triple life.

On the surface, his “normal” job is being an artist. He actually sells his work and is pretty well known in the art community, with several pieces displayed in museums all over. He does a bit of everything; sculpting, painting, sketching and even makes vases from time to time. His focus is mainly scenic art, super detailed and realistic, since he loves drawing the world in front of him. Art has always been his escape, something he’s been good at since childhood. It calms him, distracts him from the mess of his life, and lets him find beauty, even if it’s filtered through his own slightly fictionalized perspective. :’D

But then there’s his “villain job.” Officially, he tells people his role is simple: he just recruits new villains for the organization, interviews them, and checks if they’re worthy. What no one knows, though, is that Dion is actually the founder and true boss of the group, The Crimson Hand (yes, I know, super generic villain org name, but shhh). To keep his identity hidden, he wears a mask, uses an autotuned voice, and disguises himself as someone whose power is stealing and reflecting others’ abilities. He can also block people’s powers too when they’re used on him. To everyone else, Dion is only supposed to have mind reading powers, which he does, but the big secret is that he’s the only person alive with two powers. So therefore nobody suspects a thing <3

Through his recruitment “job,” he eventually crossed paths with Spencer Rae (aka me, hehe). He read my mind….which turned out to be a huge mistake, because my nonstop racing thoughts gave him a massive migraine. He actually had to go lie down with aspirin afterward. Sneaky mastermind meets chaotic brain… and that’s how I got pulled into The Crimson Hand.

What is your favorite thing about your OC, Dion? Either as a character or design wise.

My mental health is going through a loop whole that’s for sure aaa.

One of my favorite things about Dion is that he’s never quite what he seems. I’ve always loved twist villains and layered characters who keep you guessing, and he fits that perfectly. With Dion, you really have to peel back the surface to understand who he truly is. On the outside, Dion comes across as flirty, charming, and easygoing—almost like a lazy, carefree artist who coasts through life going to bars and flirting with women. But underneath all that is someone deeply broken, shaped by a life that’s hurt him in ways he hides well, someone quietly yearning to be put back together .

Yes, he’s a criminal mastermind with plenty of shady deeds under his belt, but at the end of the day, he’s still “just a little guy” in his own way. 😭👍🏻💔 What makes him fascinating is how much he masks with humor and flirtation. To most, he’d look like comic relief…the funny, cheeky character who lightens the mood. But in my AU, he’s actually the main antagonist and the love interest for my self insert (ooh la la). 💃💕

That’s what I love most: he’s a complex figure wrapped in contradiction. He may be flashing you a grin and a smooth line, but behind those eyes, he’s reading your every move, calculating exactly how to take you down. And while he almost never breaks that lighthearted, flirty facade, the rare times he does? He’s downright terrifying.

Okay, so some of our favorite fall activities together are finding a pretty park where the trees are turning all those gorgeous autumn colors. I’ll sit down, and Dion will pull out his sketch pad to draw me, since he’s always finding excuses and fall is his favorite season to draw in. I love my artist bf shh. :’3💕

After that, we usually go on a little pumpkin pie hunt, trying slices from different places and deciding which one’s the best. Even though he’s not nearly as much of a glutton as I am, he’ll still order a piece and eat some just so I don’t feel awkward eating alone. Then, of course, he lets me finish it off. 🥧 I’ve always been the type to feel embarrassed eating by myself because it makes me think I’m being too greedy, so it means a lot when he shares it with me, it makes me feel less ashamed and more comforted.

Once we’re done, we’ll go shopping for scarves, and that’s when things get chaotic. I’ll pick out the ugliest scarves for him to try on, and he’ll get me back by doing the same. We eventually settle on something normal, but the whole process always has us laughing until our stomachs hurt.
