Anyway in this universe vampires have their werewolf-esque transformation on new moons and aren't blind but can't see for shit so the city mandates quiet time on new moons. And there's definitely vampire gangs and Dock was definitely in one but they refused to partake in the sexy blood rituals and they got tossed into the condemned rabid vampire nest for their crimes but luckily Rosalia busted in w her cleaning crew (she's part of a special team of sanitation workers who clean up monster nests) and she saved them and gave them a place to stay and they're scared bc they think she's nice but their old gang definitely knows they didn't die but can't they enjoy this niceness for a little while longer
