Born in 1938 as Elias, the young boy was raised by his mother and his step-dad, Jonas. Unfortunately his birth father could not stay in Germany due to being American. With the rise of the N*z* party, Jonas had enlisted and quickly rose through the ranks and gained access to the experiments happening at Endstation. Alongside his step-brother, Richie, Elias was often accompanying his father to Endstation and observing his father’s work with the youth.
In 1945, the youth camp was raided by the Allies. While Richie and Elias fled, Jonas had been captured. Elias had to watch his birth father (unknown to him) execute Jonas while they hid in a field.
In 1950, Elias and his mother moved to the United States and settling down in Chicago. Elias legally changed his name to Frank Murdock as directed by his mother. He graduated high school early with honours, and went onto University to study science. There, he met William Peck and his girlfriend, Martha. Quickly becoming fast friends with the pair and their inner circle. Shortly after meeting, Frank and Martha began to have an affair behind William’s back.
After graduating from University he was immediately offered a job at the Department of Defense where he worked in the Directed Energy Weapon laboratories. He transferred out and instead focused on Unnatural Sciences where he met Dr. Elizabeth Grey who took him under her wing. They had a falling out in the late 1970s and never rekindled their friendship. Due to Peck’s manipulation, Frank found himself wanting to join Omega for his own advancement and money. In 1983, he was recruited to join Requiems team and placed under Dr. Strauss in Energy Research. He also managed to secure a spot in Omega and was working as a double agent for both sides. He was the one sent on most crystal mining missions and the one to make it back in one piece almost every time. Puzzled by how he felt a strong connection to the Dark Aether and even more confused how he was found to thrive in it. What he found out made him reconsider why he played both sides.
