Did you have any influences for imaras name?
I originally encountered the name in a book series I was reading, and I liked it, so I tucked it away in my head and occasionally used it to name an alt on this or that MMO, back when I played those.
When I was working on creating a character to be Astarion's love interest in It's Time to Try Living Again, I remembered the name and went with it because it felt the most right out of any I'd tried out.
It wasn't until I was nearly done writing the fic that, when researching a surname for her, I realized the name means strong, firm, and resolute - and it certainly fits her.
Definitely a happy accident!
