Luis stopped throwing fire and ice and clutched at his head, screaming. But there was something wrong with the scream. It didn’t sound human. It sounded animalistic, almost...“Vaermina, vuth!” Luis yelled. “Lif sen naalien!” But something was wrong with his voice. It didn’t sound like him, not exactly. There was an undertone, something Brelyna couldn’t place, but that she knew didn’t sound like a mortal should sound.

Luis conjured another fireball. Onmund put up a ward. “Luis! Listen! It’s us!”

Luis made to throw the fireball. But as he did so, he doubled over and let out another yell. He clutched at his head. “Stin dii kiir! Let the boy go!”

AKA Luis finds out that the Skull of Corruption can latch onto past life PTSD flashbacks
