More Buzzard, her origins are finally revealed! Based off of theories abt protoforms and why Sari’s was a tiny baby unlike the others we see; George Takei mentions in the allspark almanac that they’re meant to be “nurtured for many stellar cycles under the gentle light of the Matrix Chamber.” Maybe if a protoform is taken away from it too long before they’re given a spark, like say, on a voyage to earth, they start to wither. Maybe to cybertronians, growing up instead of popping out fully cooked is more of a medical condition than anything lol

As a parent, Bumblebee seems to me like a guy in his early to mid twenties who’s a little in over his head. Protoforms aren’t as dependent and fragile as human infants but you can’t take that for granted.
Based on the show, his best stat is that he’s really good with kids. He glommed onto Sari really easily. (They are SO SIBLINGS I’m gonna CRYYYY) Their dynamic kinda reminds me of how my adult cousin/s used to play around w me when i was her age lol. Actually, he’s probably the only one on his team who has enough understanding and patience (thanks prowl) when it comes to kiddos to actually pull off being a primary caretaker. Although, Buzzard is definitely a child who was raised by a village.
The team tries their best to take care of Buzz in their own ways too. It’s like living in a household with extended family, aunties, uncles, grandparents, cuzins. He often goes to Ratchet for help and answers since he’s a doctor and he has a similar experience with Omega Supreme. Since Bee has places to stay on both Cybertron and Earth, he can always bring Buzzard along with him to either place.
Although, Bee didn’t know how to react to this at first because he didn’t want to treat her like a second Prowl, living in his shadow; But she took a real liking to being on Earth. Even when she was too small to actually do anything interesting or different from the norm, she just seemed to have more energy and joy on the Earth base.

Yes she did often talk to or interact with things that weren’t there as a prototype. Sari & Arcee kept telling Bumblebee that imaginary friends were pretty normal at her age but he was still pretty concerned by it lol
