last line tag
I’ve been tagged by the lovely @panda-noosh for the last line.

I stood my ground but flinched every time he hit my shield as I couldn’t keep it up.
I had too though, I had to prove to him I am strong enough. Strong enough to handle him and the monster that was going to destroy my home.
Vincent scoffs swinging and hitting my shield one last time shattering it making me gasp. His sword was in front of my face before I could blink. Heavy breaths left my mouth as I began to panic, oh god this was it – he’s going to kill me. I close my eyes ready to accept the death, but – where would that leave him?
“You have improved, I admit,” Vincent began slowly putting the sword against his hip. “You still have to train to get better, that I can plainly see.” Vincent walks back to the throne making me stay there, frozen in fear. Sweat dripped from my forehead making me close my eyes in defeat. “But – I believe you can improve before the Darkness comes and destroys your world.”
