Oc-tober Day 5, Choice

For the first time in 10 years, Ídésa was given the ability to make his own choices. And while he and Demos would continue being equals (and friends), the first time it really clicked that Demos’ words were genuine would always be a powerful memory for him.

Demos specifically just really wanted to touch Ídésa’s hair because he loves to style hair. Ídésa said yes at first because he felt obligated to as a servant.

When they first met, Demos had said “my father’s opinions be damned, you aren’t a servant and I will never treat you as one.” Ídésa hadn’t fully believed this statement until Demos’ actions proved it to be true.

(Ídésa now really likes when Demos messes with his hair since it reminds him of this memory.)

The first three days of oc-tober! We ignore that two of them are late.

Day 1, Home: Eldri’s house, the main room. It’s mostly empty, broken down, and totally covered in dust. Only his bedroom is actually used. The most striking thing in the house are his many hanging lanterns that he fills with light magic at night.

Day 2, Education: Demos is having a hard time learning vocab…

Day 3, Ritual: Before eating, however far apart or lost they may be, both Adel and Ídésa pray that the other will be safe.

(Translation is “Lord of the cold, please keep my brother safe”)

Which oc would you actually get along with if y'all met irl and which one would end up in a fistfight in a Walmart parking lot?

Ohooooo fun….

Part of my idea when creating Laiya was that she’d be really fun!! But also she would be way too high energy for me, I think I would leave a hangout with her feeling like I need a nap. Lorem was a little bit inspired by one of my real life classmates and I think he’d be pretty fun to just hang out with if I just watched him do his whole inventing thing the same way I watch other people play video games.

As for a fistfight… Demos just *begs* for trouble all the time, so it’s likely to be him fhgdhsja.

(Personally, I can’t think of any of my characters who I could fistfight… and who I’d want to… like, Ídésa is an easy target but why would I do that 😭)
