I made an updated side headshot for Sellatrix too! The old one bothered me even more than Verloren's old headshot. Like the original, there's also alt versions for no-hood and the other hairstyle she wears sometimes

Little comparison:

Sellatrix exists since 2018 but until 2023 she was very vague and I only had a tiny and very generic sketch of her face that I never actually liked. She was already very important back then, but I knew basically nothing about her personality. I'm very glad this changed because I really like her now.

Sellatrix doesn't take her tasks very seriously. She doesn't care if she loses this job anyway since she never really wanted it much in the first place. She would gladly just live in the middle of a forest, growing some crops, raising some rabbits... scaring passersby with her witchcraft. That's the good life. Not these dull, repetitive routine spells... Why did the castle need to have so many lights to be lit by magic every day? Who needs so many letters sent all the time to need all these courierbyrd spells? What did they need so many weapon enchantments for? Yeah, there's a war going on I guess... Who careees, she just wants to go back to her quarters and pet her cat.

Merry Christmas

Figured I could put Verloren and Sellatrix Petz-forms in cute little outfits and they turned out cuter than I expected hehe

This sweater looks surprisingly good on Verloren, most sweaters cover his mane but this one specifically doesn't somehow! AND it's his colors! :D (because of the custom palette I made for him but anyway)

It's a bit sad that hats sit a bit too low on Sella's head so they always clip into her hair... I should make her some custom hoods like the ones I usually draw her with

Wanted to draw these guys in expressions I don't usually think of but would be fairly normal for them! We have:

Hawthorn, watching someone brag about their dueling skills while he knows he could easily beat them.

Finella, venting about how that jealous lady from Phytomagic is always spreading lies about her and it's so outrageous that anyone even listens to her.

Mitzer, having fun chilling at the castle gardens with a friend and not looking like a scaredy cat for once.

Sellatrix, looking at a really cool bug she just found and about to call whoever is nearby to come see it.

I'm out of home for holidays and stuff until around January 7, so it's traditional art time since I don't have my PC with me (because I only have a desktop and I'm not carrying that around).

Here's Sellatrix, hanging out on a tree in the wilderness beyond castle grounds. She will regularly go to the forest in her free time to just be in nature, watch birds and collect nice rocks, dead bugs and rotting bones. Sometimes she'll go even when she's supposed to be at work as a mage in the castle...

I'm probably gonna scan this and color digitally once I'm back home, that's why I didn't even shade it with pencil or anything. I'm afraid of making it too messy if I do that anyway... I'd smudge pencil everywhere with my hand.

More Sellatrix, with one of said conjured magic animals. She's particularly fond of magpies and she uses them to gather tools and materials for her at times while she's working (animals like this are called feralisks and they're entirely controlled by their conjurer, not actually independent living creatures)

This is Sellatrix. Like Verloren, she's one of the Royal Augurs of Houndsdagger, but she's also a witch who enjoys cursed card games and conjuring magic animals. She loves stars and the moon, almost all of her clothes are starry in some way.
