What is it that fascinates Neuroscientists so much about the Occipital Lobe in the human brain? A clue can be garnered in its role which is essentially Visual Processing, including the ability to bring forth images from our mental space into the physical space. Interesting too that this same area has great significance in some African Spiritual traditions too... In the Yoruba, it is a space utilised in the invocation of the Orisha Esu, the 'messenger' that bridges the realms of immateriality with the material - again from the mental to the physical. In the Zulu Sangoma tradition too, it is a space for conducting specifically visualisation rituals; known as the In'ergerba. Sheds much light on the Modern adage in self-help psychology and psychoterapy 'What you can visualise you can achieve' etc It becomes immediately clear that much is learnt from our Ancestral Knowledge Systems for which no credit is ever given, all in an attempt to claim to 'discover' or 'invent' things. Those on the journey to reconnect with Source should use this month of October dedicated to African/Black History to learn much of what has been deliberately hidden at a HUGE DISCOUNT. Use code OCT40. This is from part 3 of the 'Living an African Spiritual-Centred Life' series, how will you use this Knowledge? https://ancestralvoices.teachable.com LINK IN BIO #part3 #occipital #occipitallobe #neuroscientist #yoruba #immediately #clear #bhm #clue #october #huge #invent #christopher #columbus #syndrome #ancestralvoices #ancestral_voices https://www.instagram.com/p/CVEUA3Nj3bu/?utm_medium=tumblr
