THAT SOUNDS COOL: Hidden Public Spaces Tour

The Seattle Architecture Foundation is always putting on walking tours around Seattle that show off architectural history and movements, explore notable buildings and neighborhoods. They sound really cool but sadly I've never been on one because a lot of them are in the middle of the day on a weekday when I'm busy at the salt mines. Also they fill up fast.

However, the Hidden Spaces/Public Places tour is on a Saturday (11/23) and is not full (!!) and is right up the alley of anyone who likes creeping around the city and exploring its nooks and crannys. This tour will show off public areas throughout downtown you may have never known about (like our beloved Freeway Park), that are 100% okay for loitering about in. Because seriously, we're always looking for new places to loiter.

Tours are $15 bucks which seems like a reasonable price for intel on a grip of new places to read books and suntan and do picnics in come summertime.
