Highlighting the women of Thelema: Jane Wolfe. This is a beautiful portrait of her clipped from the New York Dramatic Mirror newspaper, June 10, 1914. It's so rare and special to see such a well preserved clipping from a newspaper. Jane Wolfe was an actress and important female figure in magick. She was a student of Aleister Crowley and a founding member of Agape Lodge of the Ordo Templi Orientis in Southern California. Jane Wolfe took the aspiration name Estai when she joined the A∴A∴. Years later, she expressed her aspiration in the words, "I will become the creative Force of the Universe," with the motto, Fiat Yod.
