Dark Light is a very dangerous glitch that gems can be made with. Usually if one Gem in a Kindergarten gets some of it, quite a few gems near them have a chance to get it as well.

It can ruin an entire gems being and have them come out of the ground already corrupting, but those gems are usually shattered by Diamonds.

If a gem has it long enough it will eventually evolve itself a mind of it’s own and even try taking over the entire gem. With having been a part of the gem for so long it will know how to do everything that they can. These Lights are even more dangerous, but a lot more so to other gems around them instead of just that gem.

If a weaker gem carries this they’re a whole lot worse due to the fact that the Light will be able to consume them a lot easier. Gems with their gem on their head aren’t any better, no matter how strong they are; the process is a lot easier from up there.

For example; this is Ocean Agate’s Dark Light; Tear-Y She was manufactured by a Diamond so it is unknown as to how she ended up with it. If Ocean Agate’s existence is threatened her Darkness can start spreading in minutes.

They have their own names for the variants of gem. This will be a little index on how to classify them:

 -Forehead Gem= Parasite (Blue color)

 -Eye Gem= Tear (Red color)

 -Nose Gem= Snout (Green color)

 -Neck Gem= Asphyxiate (Yellow color)

 -Torso Gem= Soul (White color)

 -Arm/Leg Gem= Muscle (Pink color)

 With the Lights having their own colors, sometimes the host gem’s colors will mix with their Dark Light’s colors. (This is why Ocean Agate’s skin comes out a bit purple.)

Power Types:

-X= Mostly only dangerous to the gem containing it, usually have no problem with the gem they are contained with (easiest to Purify), they value the host gems’ safety (mainly for the fact they need them to survive), usually come with Psychokinesis.

 -Y= Kind of untrustworthy for the host gem, needs host to consume foods and such for survival, can sometimes have need for rest, is able to manipulate host’s Light.

 -Z= Very hard to control or even contain, truly terrifying, the most powerful of the three types, they are known to have a bit of a god complex, have the ability to hover/take flight. (Good luck Purifying them lmao.)

 If a gem is powerful enough to not completely break down by containing the Dark Light they’ll eventually Purify. Turning them into the gem they were supposed to be, but a lot more powerful than average.
