10th June 2025 // On the second day of her two day trip to Nice for the UN Ocean Conference, Crown Princess Victoria attended a panel hosted by UNDP - of which she is an ambassador - to discuss scientific cooperation opportunities. She ended the trip with a walk through Nice's old town.

We're a voice for the sea at the first-ever United Nations Ocean Conference this week! Aquarium staff will contribute to Ocean Conference forums on critical issues, including:

- Improving the sustainability of global fisheries 

- Taking action to combat ocean acidification

- Reducing the sources of plastic pollution

The Crown Princess attended the opening ceremony of the conference, an event hosted by the Nordic Council on Nordic collaboration to protect the oceans alongside the Crown Prince of Norway, and an event by Business Sweden focusing on ways Sweden can assist in renewable energy.
