I am proud of who I am (even if, for the meantime, I am still hiding in this wonderful closet called Tumblr)

Note: For those who know me IRL, please don’t disclose this information so easily. My mom (and the rest of the clan) still doesn’t understand and since she told me that I do not deserve to feel like this, I cannot live how I feel I should be living. I draw a very fine line between Athena and Nathan. For me to keep living, I have to keep these two lives in check, and I am taking a big risk here because there are many of you who have known me for years and are close with my family. So please. Not yet. This is my only safeplace to be Nathan. Please.

I am Ma. Athena Almira Benedictos. Dfab, genderfluid, panromantic polysexual. I am a first year law student. I prefer to be called Shin, my gender neutral name, or Nathan, my trans name. I dont mind if you call me Athena… but please understand that I constantly switch from her to Nathan a lot. I have a girlfriend whom I Skype and message regularly. I have genderfluid and transgender and non-binary friends. And we are happy. I have only recently discovered my sexuality. I live in a conservative Catholic home. I love God. And I believe that I can praise him whether I feel like a man or a woman. I have been, and still am, attracted to men and gays and lesbians. I especially like trans men. My girlfriend is the only exception. No matter what her sexuality is, she showed me true love amd accepted me no matter what. And as I have told her, and you who are following me, a thousand times before, she helped me love myself, along with my friends all over the world. Thank you for keeping me strong. And always helping me back on my feet. I’m now studying for my exam tomorrow. And as long as I know people here support me, I know I can do this. I’m happy I found you guys. Thank you.

Okay so i hope you're still taking creepy stories. I used to live in this really old house, i lived there for like 10 years or so. And some nights I would be left alone, and my room is on the top floor. I would always leave all the lights on and i would leave my door open with a chair... But I still see a white man walking back and forth on our hallway.
