Ochna seeds to follow the Ochna flowers I posted before. While the seeds are black when ripe, they have a pretty surprisingly strong fluorescence under my UV light.

Ochna seeds to follow the Ochna flowers I posted before. While the seeds are black when ripe, they have a pretty surprisingly strong fluorescence under my UV light.
Another South African plant which has made its way to California (as well as Australia and many other parts of the world), Ochna species are grown as ornamental plants. The flowers are often quite showy yellows through reds and it produces clusters of fruit in an atypical presentation.
