Hi there. This is a blog dedicated to my own desire to learn a bit more about the natural world immediately around me. I live in Hong Kong and here's where I post the miscellaneous and completely random pictures I take, on my walks in the neighbouring countryside close to the urban centre where I live: plants, spiders, moths, all sorts of bugs, very occasionally even reptiles. I also frequently post photos of any small animal that finds its way into my home (apartment, 16 floors above ground). The sheer diversity is far more than you might think... but moths, mostly. I tag with taxonomic info, including family, genus and species names as far as I am able to identify the organism. Camera: Pentax MX-1 (starting from Jul 2013) Previously Olympus FE-190.
