Ochus Bochus: Crowdfund Actor Interviews

During the crowdfunding campaign, I interviewed two of the main actors in the film to find out what they liked about the project and what gained their interest in the first place. These went really well and were well received by backers. I think they also make some interesting promotional material for the flick, even now the campaign is finished. So I've decided to share them here.

Ochus Bochus: Numbers can be misleading

I've been busy this past couple of days preparing the script and breaking it back down into tiny little schedule-able pieces. On paper, the amount of work left to do looks somewhat formidable and intimidating. But the numbers can be misleading.

For instance, we still have 20 of 25 scenes left to film. If I told somebody that, before insisting we are actually halfway there, they'd probably sceptically raise an eyebrow and think I'm a crazy person.

However if we look at it in terms of pages, we only have 10 of 20 pages left to film. The other ten pages all have film coverage. Much of what we have left to film is footage for the narrative flashback sequence which will only have screen time of seconds as opposed to minutes. 

That said, we will still probably require 4 maybe 5 days to shoot the remainder. This is due to the variety of different locations and also lighting required to give it the consistently beautiful look we have already achieved.

We have a long road ahead of us but as I said before, the film will be more than worth the wait and hard work.
