on the one hand I can't stand long sleeves when I'm writing. on the other hand my arms are. cold.

On the one hand I have this story laid out in perfect cinematic view in my mind, complete with backdrops, soundtrack and clear pictures of the characters' faces.

On the other hand I don't wanna write 😭😭😭

excited for may because (ociewriter edition)

1. beginning to write my Spaceship Pilot story

2. editing and posting my 20k+ heated rivalry fic

3. finishing edits on the book I finished in march

(basically I have a lot of REALLY fun writing taking place this month)

I finished the book I was writing.

took me 40 days to write draft one from start to finish.

1. this is the first time I have EVER been able to start a project and see it through without getting distracted, and therefore the fastest I have ever written a book.

2. while I have written and finished other books, not one of them made it past a very messy first draft stage. this current book is spending the month of April getting edited and turned into something more polished

3. I WROTE A FUCKING BOOK IN 1.5 MONTHS

I know I never shut up about it, but I'm thinking about writing backstories for characters again.

my current WIP has 4 main side characters and one character who doesn't even show up in the book, he's just mentioned. and I've written multiple pages of backstory for each character.

because each character in my story is so real to me that I feel like I have to work out what their personalities are like and where they come from.

I don't know. Maybe I'm too obsessive but I love expanding the world I've created to include the lives of characters who are nothing more than supporting cast for the mains.
