Act 2 is here! And last time, King has shown us, with his new powers, he's more monster than human now. Saving the Lighttale family from the Kellers, Frisk's old family. . . But with the retreat of the Kellers, something new stirs.
Is all that was heard as the Dreemurr cars flew down the road. They were returning from the abandoned warehouse that the Kellers, Frisk's old family, had lured them in order to eliminate them and retake Frisk. They nearly succeeded too. . . But. . .
CLICK
Toriel: *Opens the door to the Dreemurr house* Ok, bring him to the couch, please.
Asgore: *Carrying the unconscious King and rushes to the couch as everyone else follows*
Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, Frisk, and Asriel came barreling through the door. Papyrus shut and locked the door as Undyne pulled out her phone to report and open a case on the Kellers. Meanwhile, everyone else rushed to the couch and looked as King lay limp. Still unconscious after his final stand against the Kellers, and after displaying his monster physiology.
Toriel: *Using her green healing magic on King* He's fine physically, no injuries.
Alphys: But his magic reservoir. . . Even his magic category.
Papyrus: This monster can use skeleton magic. This means. . . WE HAVE A NEW BROTHER!!!! *Papyrus smiles happily as he bounces around* He has our powers, match for match!
Asriel: Wait, you can summon those blasters, Papyrus?
Papyrus: Nyeh heh heh, little Asgore! *Raises his gloved hand as a small basketball-sized Gaster Blaster appears, red eyes instead of white*
All of them stepped back in bewilderment as Papyrus, the innocent one of the skeletons, summoned something new to them all. . .
Toriel: W-woah!! *Toriel steps back in shock and fear*
Alphys: P-Papyrus?! Wh-what?!?! What are- How?!
Papyrus: Nyeh heh heh! Impressive, aren't they! *Closes his fist as the Gaster Blaster disappears*
Asgore: Could you do those all the time?
Papyrus: Why yes, I could! I just never did because it seemed too violent to use against humans.
As the others pressed Papyrus more on his display of the Gaster Blaster, Asriel tended to King. And Frisk. . .
Frisk: *About to walk over to Asriel and King*
Sans: *Teleports in front of Frisk* Hey kid, come here.
Frisk: Oh, Sans! What-
Sans: We need to talk. *He says as his pupils disappear and his eye sockets go dark*
Sans then proceeded to bring Frisk over to the dining table, away from the living room, where everyone else was. The lighting was only dim since the lights were off, but there was light from the living room and the campfire.
Frisk: S-Sans? What's wrong?
Sans: . . . Why didn't you do it, kid?
Frisk: What?
Sans: . . .
"Why didn't you Reset?"
That one word hit Frisk like a brick. Reset. To start back from Mt. Ebott. To start the adventure all over again. Where only she, Sans, and Flowey/Asriel knew. They all knew it had to come at the end of runs. Neutral, Genocide, even Pacifist. But yet, here they are now, 1 year later. . .
Sans: Kid?
Frisk: I. . .
Sans: I'm not mad. I'm just curious. . . This hasn't happened before. Sometimes you'll wait a few days or a week after. But this has been for a year.
Frisk: Y-yeah. . . *Scratches the back of her head in nervousness*
Sans: Frisk, Papyrus wasn't supposed to show that off. . . Even that monster isn't supposed to be here.
Frisk: I know! I know! I know Papyrus wasn't supposed to, even though he does have it! And King. . . I'm not sure where to start with him.
Sans: Why didn't you Reset?
Frisk: . . .
"Because I don't have it."
Sans immediately stopped pondering around and looked at Frisk as she pulled up her "game menu." All that appeared were her stats and her name. . . But the Reset button at the bottom left, gone. Leaving a blank and empty area on it. As well as the save and load buttons.
Sans: H-how?
Frisk: I'm not entirely sure either! I. . . *Exhales*
"It happened after leaving Mt. Ebott."
~~~~~~~~~~~
MOMENTS AFTER LEAVING THE UNDERGROUND
Frisk walked around in the park of Ebott City, humans and monsters walking and laughing. Frisk sat under a tree, all alone and isolated as much as she could out in the public.
Frisk: . . . *Exhales* It's perfect. . . But it can't be like this forever. *Opens her "game menu"* I'm sor-
Frisk stopped as she stared, her hand reaching out slightly. Her game menu's slightly transparent dark menu floating in front of her. . . But lacking 3 buttons.
Save. Load. Reset.
Frisk quickly conjured her soul, half of it still beating and glowing red, still intact perfectly. . .
Frisk: . . . I. . .
"I can't reset?!?!"
~~~~~~~~~~~
PRESENT
Frisk: . . .
Sans: *Jaw hanging open a bit* What. . . What did you do, kid?
Frisk: Sans, I'm not sure. I'm not sure how it came to be. But the moment I gave Asriel part of my soul. . . It felt liberating in a way.
Sans: . . How?
Frisk: I can't describe it. Like something in me just snapped free.
Sans: Or something else intervened. *Peers back out to King*
Frisk: Sans! *Holds his hand and pulls him back* Even if he was a problem or the source, we can't risk it. If I can't Reset, there's no telling what'll happen.
Sans: . . . So what then? The Kellers? Papyrus' Blasters? King?
Frisk: That's just the start. With this happening for at least a year now, things are going to get shaky. . .
SLITHER
Frisk: My family?. . They're just the start.
SLITHER SLITHER
Frisk: . . . I don't know what's coming. . . But it can't be good.
Sans: . . . O-ok kid. We gotta find out what happened before things get worse. In the meantime, lets stay vigilant, ok?
Frisk: *Nods*
Sans: Good. . . Thanks, but you should've told me the moment it happened.
Frisk: I know. . . I'm sorry, Sans.
Sans: It's ok. *Turns to Frisk as the two hug* Let's still keep this a secret.
Frisk: Got it.
Frisk and Sans continued to hug, as the others tended to King and pondered around after what happened. They all stayed in the Dreemurr home in case the Kellers came back, which thankfully they didn't. They all then slept on sleep mattresses, the couch, and shared some beds.
Last time, the family and friends retreated back and tended to the unconscious King while Frisk and Sans talked about things that had been happening. Now it's time to put this ugly night to rest.
The Moon howled with the chilly breeze within the night sky. Ebott City started dying down a bit as humans and monsters clocked in for the night. That included the Lighttale family, or at least start to. Some of them talked, some of them checked in with the others, etc. Plenty of them were split amongst the house, but the Dreemurr parents sat in the living room, with King still limp. . .
Toriel and Asgore: *Sitting near King*
Toriel: . . . He's not wrong, but he doesn't know.
Asgore: *Looks at Toriel as he caresses King's head on his lap* What?
Toriel: King was right, this wasn't your fault, Asgore. But he wasn't there for everything back then. The actions you did in the Underground.
Asgore: Toriel-
Toriel: I know you're trying Asgore, but what you did was far from heinous. I can't forgive you for that.
Asriel: Mom!!! *Asriel calls out from his room*
Toriel: *Her and Asgore look up before she stands* Please hold your thoughts, Asgore.
Asgore watched in sorrow as Toriel ascended the stairs to see what Asriel needed. Thus, leaving Asgore alone, the cracking of the flames from the fireplace occasionally breaking the silence.
Asgore: *Alone as his thoughts ponder in his mind* . . .
"Wh-what. . ."
Asgore: *Eyes widen as he looks down*
. . .
King: *His eyes quiver as his clawed-fingers twitch. . . Before he opens his eye sockets slowly* . . Wh-what did she mean?
Asgore: K-King! *Asgore says as he helps King*
King sat in an upright position as he rubbed his skull. Asgore swiftly placed the blankets around King's shoulders.
Asgore: Are you ok, King?
King: Y-yes. . . J-just cold.
Asgore: Wait here please! *Asgore asks politely as he rushes to the kitchen*
King waited in silence and achiness as he waited, hearing Asgore work his magic in the kitchen. When he came back, he was holding two cups of hot tea.
Asgore: Please, take one.
King: *Reaches out and grabs one of the cups* Th-thank you, dad.
Asgore: *Looks at King in shock as he calls him "dad"*
Asgore then sat side by side next to King, watching over him as the two sipped on the hot and warm tea by the fireplace. King looked down at the table as he tried to recover, but Asgore kept his focus on King, making sure he wasn't to pass out again.
Asgore: . . .
King: What did she mean?
Asgore: What was that, King?
King: . . . Mom. She said your actions in the Underground? Heinous? Unforgivable? . . . *Turns to face Asgore* What did she mean?
Asgore looked at King, then down at the tea as his giant furry fingers rubbed against the glass cup, feeling the warmth of the tea through it.
Asgore: . . . *Inhales and exhales* . . . It was back when The Barrier was still up.
King: *Looks at Asgore and leans in*
Asgore: We were desperate. We needed any hope of getting back to the surface. . . Because by then, Asriel and our other child. . . Were killed.
King: Other child?
Asgore: . . . The first human to fall into the Underground, Chara Dreemurr.
King: Chara. . .
Asgore then went on to explain the bond that Chara and Asriel built when they lived in the Underground, how the bond they built showed that humans and monsters could live in harmony. . . And how it was all shattered, when Chara and Asriel's passed.
King: . . . I'm. Sorry.
Asgore: It's ok, King. . . But in that moment, something flourished in me. Gripping the last fabric of Asriel's sweater before he passed. . . I. . . I needed our hope back. The humans took the hope we so dearly hoped would happen. So I made a promise to the monsters of the Underground. And to not risk complete annihilation with our backs against the barrier. . . Any and all humans that fell into the Underground from Mt. Ebott would be killed, so we can use their souls to break the barrier.
King: *Looks in shock* So that explains those legends I've heard. Any who ventured into Mt. Ebott never returned.
Asgore: Yes. Me and the Royal Guard of the Underground killed 6 humans and took their souls. Held them in reserve until the time was right.
King: . . . Did you. . . Um.
Asgore: Hm? What's wrong, King?
King: In the Underground. My family. . . Did you-
King was then cut off as he felt one of Asgore's large, furry hands on his shoulder. Turning his head completely, King locked eyes with Asgore's green eyes, filled with reassurance.
Asgore: I promise you, King. I didn't.
King: How do-
Asgore: Because I only took the souls of young ones. About as old as Frisk, Asriel, and you.
King: Then. . . That means-
Asgore: While I didn't take the souls of your family, I took the souls of 6 human children. That's what your mother was talking about.
King: O-oh. . .
Asgore: What I did was unforgivable in Toriel's eyes. But I don't blame her, I just tried to give us hope. Now Toriel tries to distance herself from the carnage. She can't forgive me.
. . .
*SHUFFLE*
As Asgore sat there with his thoughts and feelings, he felt the warm embrace of a hug against his torso. King's fur brushed against Asgore's, his 5-clawed hands wrapping around Asgore as much as they could. King's yellow blanket also wrapping around Asgore. The former king of the Underground looked down at the Skeletal New-Breed.
King: Well. I forgive you. I understand that you were trying to give them hope, but 6 children wasn't the way. But still. . . I forgive you. And I'm sorry.
Asgore looked at King, King wrapped around him as he rested his left cheek on Asgore. Asgore's eyes watered a bit before he closed and reopened his eyes as he made a close-mouthed smile. He reached down and hugged King with one hand and stroked King's head between his horns, patting him in the process.
King: *Recoils in reactions as he slightly looks up at Asgore*
Asgore: *Softly exhales and smiles at King before nodding* . . . Though I do have to ask you something, King.
King: Hm? *Looks up completely at Asgore* What is it?
Asgore: Y-your powers. Your magic. How'd you do it?
King: I. . . I don't know, really. All I knew was seeing Frisk in trouble. And I. . I had to save her. Then something in me just. . . Snapped.
Asgore: Hm, I see. But are you ok?
King: I think so.
Asgore: Perhaps that was just your body starting to adapt to the monster physiology.
King: . . . *Looks down*
Asgore: Oh right. My bad, King. I'm sorry.
King: I-it's ok don't worry. . . But there's something else.
Asgore: *Looks at King* Hm?
King: When I used my powers and then passed out. I felt. . . Something.
Asgore: Your powers?
King: Kind of? I don't know, I can't explain it. But it felt. . . Weird. Like something that wasn't supposed to happen, happened. . .
Asgore: That's concerning. We should Alphys take you to the lab to finish your check up, especially after tonight.
King: *Looks at Asgore in worry* A-are you sure? Because last time-
Asgore: Don't worry, King. This time, I'll be there to protect you all.
King: *Smiles* Ehehehe, ok. *King giggles lightly*
King looked at Asgore as both of them softly smiled, the cracking of the flames from the fireplace breathing a soft and reassuring breath of fresh air into the two of them.
Asgore: *Smiles* . . . Oh before I forget, I want to give you something.
King: Huh? *Pulls away from the hug*
Asgore: Hohoho, in case you haven't noticed, you're wearing one of your brother's sweaters.
King: *Eyes widen a bit and looks down, seeing Asriel's iconic lime-green sweater with 2 yellow stripes* O-oh, hehe.
Asgore chuckled softly before reaching over and down before pulling up a small, slightly rectangular, flat box and handing it to King.
King: What? *Grabs the box with both his hands* What is it?
Asgore: Open it. *Smiles slightly*
King proceeded to open the box, upon looking in, King stared in shocked silence. In the box resided a folded up red jacket with a dark gray hoodie and furry collar line. It has silvery zipper teeth, 2 laces with orange aglets. There were lime-green stripes that looped around the entire jacket. The green stripes were also seen on the sleeves on the shoulders and the elbow. There were also light-yellow stripes at the bottom of his jacket and on the cuff of the sleeves. All of the stripes looped around the jacket. As King pulled the jacket out of the box, he noticed another thing. As he pulled it out, he noticed it was a pair of dark-spacey blue sweat pants. It had the same green stripes for the pocket outlines and knees that looped around as well. Finally, on the back of the pants, right under the waist was a hole in the shape and position of King's tail.
King: *Stares in bewildered shock* H-huh?
Asgore: Hohoho, try them.
King proceeded to remove the sweater and place it on the couch. King now wore a white shirt only, before he threw the jacket over his head. Asgore then looked away as King removed his current pants and put his legs in the pants, the two clothes were perfect fits. King looked at the clothes as he twisted and turned to look at the clothes design.
Asgore: *Looks back and smiles* Like them?
King: I love them! *He exclaims in a whisper* They feel so comfy. I. . . I can't believe they sell clothes like these.
Asgore: Oh these weren't bought, those were made.
King: Oh. . . Hehe, thanks dad.
Asgore: O-oh. *Asgore stutters as King thanks him without him saying who made them* I-I-
King: Mom's been busy and it's only been a few days. I don't think she'd have time. But you would.
Asgore: *Staring at King as he breaks it all down* . . . Hoho, you catch onto things quickly.
That's right, Asgore was the one who made these clothes for King. While Toriel was thinking about buying King some of his own clothes, Asgore acted quicker. In his private time at his log cabin, while he may have not interacted much with him prior to now, Asgore wanted to make a good first impression on King. Thus, he created the clothes King now wears. King and Asgore then hugged again as King rested on Asgore's lap.
Asgore: Now, *Pulls away from the hug* Let's get some rest, King. And put this terrible night behind us. *About to stand up*
King: . . Can I. . Lay here and sleep with you?
Asgore: *Stops as he looks at King* Are you sure?
King: Yes, more than I'll ever be.
Asgore: *Smiles a small open-teethed smile* Well of course, King.
King: *Smiles as he lays on Asgore's lap* . . . Thank you, dad.
That one word. That single word. It hit Asgore like a brick. He's heard that word a lot from Frisk and Asriel. . But now, he heard it from a new voice. A new voice that considered him a father.
Asgore: . . *Smiles as he lays back a bit* You're welcome, son.
King and Asgore laid on the couch until the two drifted off to sleep, as the campfire cracked still.
Toriel: *On top of the stairs as she heard their entire conversation* . . . So you love him too. . . *Smiles* Asgore. *Looks away and softly exhales as she heads to her room to sleep as the house finally turns quiet*

As King and Asgore slept, the campfire's flames burned as much as they could, on it's last breath however. . Before it finally extinguished. . .
Sans: *Inhales as he wakes up, his eyes glowing blue as he sits up* . . . *Looks around before looking at Mt. Ebott in the window* . . . *Lays back down and tries to go back to sleep, but still worried* . . . What's happening. . .
Lighttale: What is Family
Chapter 5: A Parent's Love,
9/17/2016, Saturday.
Frisk's older family, the Keller family. Consisting of her mother, Amelia. Her father, Gerald. And her fraternal twin brother, Fergo. They paid a visit to the Dreemurr household to try and take Frisk back. Thankfully, Undyne and Papyrus came to the rescue. But why were they actually here?

Chapter 5: A Parent's Love,
After the kerfuffle between the Dreemurrs and the Kellers, things started dying down. Undyne would reassure that she would do her best to make sure the Keller family wouldn't cause any more trouble to the Dreemurrs as she talked with Toriel while Papyrus kept the Dreemurr kids company.
Toriel: Thank you very much, Undyne.
Undyne: No problem, Toriel. . . ANYWAYS! *Undyne drops her professional and serious tone and back to her loud and goofy self* On to the real reason we're here! *Looks over at Papyrus and the kids* You kids want to head out?!
Toriel: Huh?
Papyrus: Oh right! I forgot that's why we were here! Nyeh heh heh! *Papyrus, "Nyeh"s in embarrassment*
Frisk: Go out?
Undyne: Heck yeah! It's still the weekend, the carnival is still up! And it'll be night time! So it'll make things even better!
Asriel: *Gasps happily before turning to Toriel* Can we please go, mom? Please, please, please?!
Toriel: I don't know. . . After what happened earlier-
Papyrus: You don't need to worry, Lady Asgore. I, the Great Papyrus, will protect the kids like the Royal Guardsmen trainee I am!
Frisk: Um, Papyrus. The Royal Guard hasn't been a thing in a year.
Papyrus: Nyeh?! Then what have I been training for all this time?!
Undyne: *Turns to Toriel* Don't worry, Toriel. We'll keep the three safe.
Toriel: Well. . . If you're sure. Just please bring them back before it gets too dark.
Undyne: Of course-
King: Three? *King walks over next to Toriel*
Undyne and Toriel looked down at King, who seemed a little nervous still.
Undyne: Yeah, King. We're bringing you and your siblings along for the fun! It'll be a blast!
King: I. . .
Toriel: Right, that's where we found King. . . Um, I'm sure Frisk and Asriel do want to go, right? *Looks over at the two kids*
Frisk and Asriel: *Thumbs up*
Toriel: But King. . He just got out, I really wouldn't want him to go out into that environment again. Especially the place that ended him up in the hospital.
Undyne: I'll be sure to keep King safe. I promise. Nothing will touch him.
King: . . . I. . . I want to stay here with mom.
Undyne: *Looks at King* I'm sorry?
King: Please. I'm sorry miss Undyne. But I feel comfortable here now. I have a home again after months. I want to stay, please.
Undyne: Are you sure? It'll be fun! There's games. And rides. And-
Frisk: Undyne. *Frisk says as she holds Undyne's arm*
Undyne: *Looks at Frisk and smiles* Yeah, right. Sorry. *Looks back at King* Ok, kid. You can join us next time. . . Next year! Fuhuhuhu~!
King nodded as he watched Frisk and Asriel run upstairs to get dressed. Toriel chatted for a bit with Undyne and Papyrus while they waited for the other kids. Meanwhile, King stood by idly before walking over and climbing onto the couch and flipping the TV on, wrapping some blankets around him as the sun had started setting now, the day finally starting to come to an end, starting with this early evening as the chilly and cold wind started blowing in. Frisk and Asriel came down, their sweaters and long pants equipped as they reached the bottom steps.
Papyrus: Nyeh! Ready for some fun times?!
Asriel: Heck yeah!
Papyrus: That's the spirit! *Holds Asriel before raising him up and lifting him to his shoulders* Nyeeehhh!!!
Asriel: Woaaah! Haha! Papyrus! Hehe!
Frisk: Haha! Me next! Me next! Undyneee!!!
Undyne: Haha, they're excited it seems. *Looks back at Toriel* We'll bring them back safe and sound.
Toriel: And before midnight! *Toriel chimed in as she pointed at Undyne*
Undyne: Yes, yes I will!
Toriel: Perfect, thank you! *Looks at the two kids as all four of them head for the front door* Bye kids! Have fun!
Frisk and Asriel: Bye mom! We'll see you later! *The two say in sync as they wave. Frisk atop Undyne's shoulders, and Asriel still aboard Papyrus*
Toriel smiled and giggled as she waved at them all. Undyne and Papyrus waved as well as they headed up and closed the door. Toriel could still hear the four of them laughing outside as they stepped onto the sidewalk and started making their way to the anniversary carnival. But amongst their laughter, she could hear the TV on as it played the night cartoons.
Toriel: *Smiles, looking out the window before turning around and looking at King*
King: *Eyes glued to the TV as he's bundled up in blankets and pillows*
Toriel: Can I get you something to eat, King? Drink?
King: Oh, um, yes please.
Toriel: Perfect! I'll finish up dinner for the two of us! I was going to make it for all four of us, but with Frisk and Asriel gone, it'll be quicker than I thought.
King: Hehe, yeah.
Toriel then headed into the kitchen to finish up dinner while King sat on the couch and continued watching the cartoons. The yellow light from the small chandelier overhead casting shadows across the room as King heard the light hum of it buzzing. He then felt around and felt the blankets coddle him in a warm embrace. Feeling like a big warm hug around him. He smiled a bit as he continued watching. That was until Toriel came out with 2 plates of curry and a special butterscotch pie.
Toriel: Alright, King. Let's eat heehee! *Toriel says as she walks over and sets the plates on the glass table as she sits beside King*
King shook the blankets off of him and wrapped them around his legs as he sat crisscross. Toriel grabbed the two plates of curry and gave one of them to King. She pulled the table in closer as she and him ate, both of them watching the cartoon on the TV.
Toriel: *Eating before looking over at King*
King: *Eating, but shaking a bit*
Toriel: Are you ok, King? Are you cold?
King: Hm? Oh, um. Not really? Which feels. . . Weird. I'm not used to not feeling cold during the night.
Toriel: Heehee, well being made of bones and fur will do that to you! *Toriel jokes around*
King: Ehehe, yeah. . . *King sets his plate on the table, almost finished as he watches and slouches*
Toriel: . . Are you sure you're ok?
King: I'm. . Kind of?
Toriel: *Wipes her mouth with a napkin and sets her plate down* What's wrong, my child?
King: Ehe. . . That.
Toriel: Hm?
King: You call me your child. . . I'm not used to it.
Toriel: Oh. I guess that would make sense, months of being alone without your parents does that to you.
King: I mean. . That's true. But also, just. . . My mother never did that to me.
Toriel: Hm?
King: My old mom. My old family. I guess it made sense since they did kind of throw me away.
Toriel: Don't say that, King. I'm sure they meant no ill intention.
King: Then why didn't they come visit me? Come see me? Check up? Or even try to take me back after it all. . . They just threw me away.
Toriel: That. . . *Scoots closer to King* That's no family. No parent. No mother.
King: *Looks over at Toriel*
Toriel: *Places her big 3-fingered paw on King's thigh* I'm sorry that happened to you. No child should ever go through something like that. But you don't have to worry about that anymore! You have a new life. A new family. A new mother. Sure I was the former Queen of the Underground. But back in the Underground, we had such a happy life.
King: Frisk and Asriel?
Toriel: No. The first human who ever fell down.
King: First human?
Toriel: You must've not been born yet. The first human to ever fall into the Underground from Mt Ebott, Chara.
King: Chara. . .
Toriel: She fell down and was injured. But Asriel found her. And brought her to us. Me and Asgore. There, we took her in, raised her. And Chara. . . She loved it. Chara and Asriel were always an inseparable bunch. They always did everything together. They ran around the entire Underground. From Hotlands to Snowdin. They did everything they possibly could together.
King: What happened to her?
Toriel: Chara grew sick, too sick. We tried our best to help her. . . But she eventually passed. But in her dying breath, she had one request for her brother. The golden flowers in her town, she wanted to see them before she passed. But with the barrier, there was nothing we could do. . . And she died.
King: Oh. . I'm sorry.
Toriel: Don't be. Because when she died, her soul still beated. And when it appeared before Asriel, he absorbed it. It was only then that he passed through the barrier. Because a being of a human and monster soul could pass through. He took Chara's body to the town. . . But the humans attacked him. . . And. . . Well you know your story. . .
King: Right. . . He said he didn't mean it.
Toriel: He didn't. Asriel didn't want to hurt them, but the humans didn't care. Asriel in a panic let one magic out before retreating back to the Underground. They thought, Asriel had killed Chara.
King: But he didn't. It was just the human's rage. . . So it was because of them I became a monster.
Toriel: Don't blame anyone for what you became, King. . . But when Asriel came back to the Underground, he was badly injured. . . And when. . . *Sobs*
King looked up at Toriel who stared at the table, tearing a bit. King looked at her hand, still on his thigh. He raised his 5-clawed hand up and placed it on her softly. Toriel looked at King as her sobs eased.
Toriel: Sorry.
King: It's ok. But, I'm assuming the worse came.
Toriel: . . . Yes, on one day. We lost both of our children. Asriel lives now thanks to Frisk. But it still hurts to remember that day.
King: I'm sorry.
Toriel: It's ok. . But on that same day when we found them dead. . . Asgore, King of the Underground, made a decision-
King: Asgore. . . Frisk told me about him. How is he technically our dad? But something happened between you two? Why don't you like him?
Toriel: . . When he found out about the death of Chara and Asriel, he made a promise. I don't know what came over him, but he made a promise. The barrier will be destroyed, one way or another. So any humans that fell into the Underground were to be killed.
King: . . . Oh. . .
Toriel: That's when I resigned as Queen of the Underground. Fled, and lived in the Ruins. Tried to keep any human who fell down safe and sound. But they always wanted to go home. . . Where they all met the same fate.
King: Except Frisk.
Toriel: Yes. . . But those memories. Those times with Asriel and Chara. Those were some of the happiest moments of my life. Where we could live as a family. . . Now I get to live that again. With Frisk. With Asriel. . . With you.
King: *Looks at Toriel*
Toriel: King, I try to be a good mother. That's all I want to be. And I promise.
"For as long as I live, I will make sure you have the best life ever."
King: . . . Toriel. . . No.
Toriel: Hm?
King: *The corners of his mouth quiver and croak. . . Before he hugs Toriel, tears forming*
Toriel: Oomph! *Looks down at King*
Toriel was shocked a bit at King's sudden actions, but when she saw how emotional and heart-touched he was, she smiled. Toriel then reached down and hugged King. King felt her fur, her warm and soft fur brush up against his. It was even better than the blanket. Because it was filled with the love of a mother. . . His mother.
King: . . . Thank you, mom.
Toriel: *Smiles and pats King's back* You're welcome, my child.
Toriel and King hugged for a bit longer before pulling away.
King: . . Can we sit here for a bit longer?
Toriel: Heehee, of course.
Toriel wrapped her right arm around King before pulling the blankets over their shoulders as they watched TV. Toriel dimmed the lights a bit a they continued watching. . . Before the two fell asleep. Mother and son side by side as the stars above gleaned and smiled alongside King. Happy to finally have a place he can call home. And a family he can love again.
King Travels the Multiverse - Chp 1: Monster and "Monster"
Welcome one and all to my newest story/project, King travels the Multiverse! A story that is completely different from all my other stories. As it is stripped of all Undertale/Deltarune references, as well as taking place in completely different settings, plot, and motives.
But reminder that this is still canon to the Tickle Stories, as the prologue indicates that this takes place after Season 4's. "Shifting Tickles". Now what happens? Let's find out!

Chapter 1: Monster and "Monster"
King walked through the portal as he left.
King: Ah, home sweet- *King then looks around and stops* H- *King then stops himself from finishing his word and stops in his tracks* H-Home?
King looked around, there was no city. It was a small town. With some monsters walking around as well. But they were different races from Ebott's monsters and no familiar faces.
King: What is this place? *King says as he looks around and walks around*
King roamed the town to look for anyone. He immediately knew, this was not an AU of Undertale. He felt the air, it was different, there wasn't any magic in it. He tried to summon a bone, and was successful surprisingly! He then made it disappear as he was in the suburban area. He looked around and saw no familiar households. Not his house. Not the Dreemurrs. Not the Lizards. Not the Skeletons. Not Undyne and Alphys'. There was no familiar house! He stopped and slowly started to panic.
King: I got to get out of here! *King says as he starts to summon another portal*
King looked around to not make it obvious for what he was going to do, King ran for the edge of the woods. He focused and tried to summon a portal, but no portal appeared. King was confused and scared a bit. He tried again and again, but still nothing. That's when King panicked and put his hands to his head.
King: Wha. . . What is. . . What is going on?!?!?!?!?! *King asks himself as he starts to hyperventilate, closing his eyes* I. . . I. . .
???: Um. . . Excuse me?
King opened his eyes and immediately widened them. He shot up, summoned a bone to defend himself and pointed it in the voice's direction.
King: AH!!!!!! *King screams out of fear and slight bravery to show he wasn't scared*
???: AHHHH!!!!!!!! *The voice screams as loud as King after seeing King's reaction*
But when King looked, he only saw a monster, a male bunny monster to be specific. They're way shorter than King, with King having to move his neck downwards to look into their eyes. They had pink and light blue hair with 2 bunny ears dropping down. With one light blue, and the other pink. They had pink eyes that were slightly filled with fear. They also had a purple sweater with brown shorts on. They had flip-flops as well. The immediately put their hands up and looked away.
???: AHH!!! I!! I'm sorry!!!! Don't hurt me!!
King, upon realizing his predicament and obvious terrifying reaction, calmed down and made his bone disappear.
King: S-sorry. I was just, scared.
???: Oh, um. It's ok. Haha! I would have done the same thing if I could do what you did!
King: Heh, you can't use magic?
???: Use magic? No, I don't think anyone here can. How did you do that?!
King: I. . . Don't worry about it.
???: Heh, ok. Well, you seem new around here. Come, we'll talk about it at my cafe.
King: Cafe? Sorry I'm new around here.
???: Oh, well that would explain everything then! Sorry, I thought people knew about my cafe.
King: Nope, but uh maybe you could, show me around! *King then sticks his hand out* I'm King.
???: Oh! Of course.
The bunny monster then pulled out their hand and shook King's hand.
Shiry: I'm Shiry.
King: Shiry? Huh. Nice to meet you.
Shiry: Haha, thanks! That's what they all say. *Shiry says with a smile and chuckle as he shakes his head*
King: Uhhhhhhh, yeaaaah. *King says with confusion*
King and Shiry then stopped shaking hands as they started to walk.
Shiry: So uh, what brings you here, King? How did you even get here?
King: Well I. . . *King stood as he doesn't want to reveal his Multiversal traveling powers to some stranger he just met* I stumbled across this place while exploring.
Shiry: Huh? I guess you came from the continents.
King: Continents?
Shiry: *Stops and turns to King* Wait, you didn't come from the other continents? If that's the case, then where did you come from?!
King froze as he panicked. He practically just trapped himself in a corner upon revealing that. King stopped and stood his ground, trying to act tough.
King: Hey, listen. I. . . I just came from a completely different continent (technically).
Shiry: What continent? *Shiry asks as he steps towards King*
King: *Slowly backs up* Hey, listen. . . I don't want to reveal that to you. I mean, we did just meet.
Shiry stepped in front of King and scanned him. He saw how strong King was trying to be, but he could tell that inside, King was terrified.
Shiry: *Glares at King with a slight pouty face*
King: *His eyes widen as his skull blues blue a bit, seeing Shiry's cheeks puff up a bit, making him seem cute*
Shiry: *Notices King blushing* Why are you blushing? *Shiry asks as he glared at King deeper*
King: Oh! S-sorry! You just looked cute with you pouty face.
Shiry's characters immediately broke as his bunny ears lowered, his eyes widened, his mouth turned into a nervous frown, and blushed red. Shiry immediately looked away from King and covered his face with his hands. King was confused as he tried to look at Shiry's face.
Shiry: H-HEY!! D-don't call me that!!! Mhmmm!!!!
King: What's wrong?! What did I do? *King asks completely dumbfounded by Shiry's reactions*
Shiry: *Turns to King as he lowers his hands revealing his adorable reactions* I am not cute!!! I am handsome!! I am fearsome!! And I will rip your head off!! *Shiry says as he loses his breath and turns into a faint yell which only enforces his cuteness*
King: *Smiles and looks down at Shiry* Your adorable. *King says nonchalantly*
Shiry: *His tough character breaks as he bends down and looks at King with puppy eyes* N-no I'm not!
King could see it now, Shiry reflected so much of what he experienced. Every single time he was tickled or teased, he would always be called cute for his reactions. And no matter what they said, King would always resist and call himself fearsome and cool. King was blind to what the others saw in him, but Shiry revealed what King truly was, ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!!!!

Blooper: (Hey it's been a while since we've had one of these!)
King: HEY!!! *King shouts to offstage*
Kingzilla (Hey! It's the real me!!): *Looks over to King*
King: *Walks off stage* What the hell?! You're just putting words in my mouth!!
Asriel: *Walks next to Kingzilla* Well, is he wrong?!
King: Oh, look who's talking!!
Shiry: Uh, King! Oh gosh! *Turns to Kingzilla* Is this gonna affect my performance?! This is my first time and I don't want to ruin it!
Kingzilla: *Shakes his head at Shiry*
Shiry: *Exhales* Thank god!
King: Remove that from the stor-
Frisk: *Sighs, walks over to King, and scratches under his chin*
King: *Bends down as he feels the scritches and his eyes slightly cross* Stor-
Frisk: *Gives King head pats and scratches*
King: Stor- *Purrs* Mhmmm!!! *King purrs as he falls on the floor and curls up*
Frisk: *Follows and continues to parade King with scratches* We good? *Frisk asks as he looks up at Kingzilla*
Kingzilla: *Nods as he looks back on stage*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A little while after Shiry's break from character, he mustered his strength back up and he and King continued walking.
King: So uh, if you don't mind me asking, where exactly are we going?
Shiry: Well, if you're new around here, I figured I treat you to something.
King: Like what?
Shiry then slipped in between 2 buildings and onto the sidewalk. King followed shortly after and saw Shiry standing in front of a building.
Shiry: My cafe!! *Shiry says all excited*
King: Oh! You. . . You didn't have to!
Shiry: Oh please. A newcomer like you should at least get to know more about our town. *Shiry smiles and laughs as he turns and walks towards the cafe*
Both Shiry and King walked towards the café. Shiry opened the door and flicked the lights, and everything lit up. He held the door open for King as he walked in. King looked around and saw the place to be very lively. The room was decorated in a cozy atmosphere. The walls were painted bright yellow, lined with white streaks from top to bottom. The walls connected the smooth, wood-textured, birch-colored floor, to the dark brown, polished, smooth ceiling that was so clear it had a reflection on it. The ceiling was framed with a white frame with lights that hung over tables with seats next to them. There were several booths of tables with cushioned seats for 4 with the warm orange lamp above them. There were several booths filling most of the café. The booths were separated by dividers that had flowers painted on them as vines wrapped around the top of the dividers. The booths filled the sides and middle of the café, with walkways between the booths. Along the wall with the door were large windows with a frame along the top with vines and flowers that hung from them. The flowers and vines hovered over the high table and highchairs that faced the windows, with the tables parallel to the wall. Finally, towards the back were 3 things. To the left was a wooden hover gate, like the wooden gates you see in Wild West buildings XD. To the right was a doorway that led to the bathroom, kitchen, an exit glass door, and a locked door. And in the middle was a wooden, bar-like area with seats and an open window behind it that exposed the kitchen.
King: *Whistles as he looks around* Daaaaang! This is nice!
Shiry: Haha, thanks. *Shiry says as he closes the door and makes sure the "closed" sign is up* I'm closed for today, but for you, I'll make a special exception!
King: Heh heh, thanks for that! *King thanked as he continues to look around more* (This place could give Grillbz a run for his money!)
Shiry: Come, take a seat! *Shiry says as he walks past King and behind the bar area*
King walked over to the bar and pulled up a seat as he leaned on the bar and Shiry walked over.
Shiry: So, what can I get for you?
King: Hmm. I don't know. What do you recommend?
Shiry smiled as he walked over and prepped King a small dish. He made King a bowl of Ramen with a side of rice and meat with some tea all in a few minutes.
Shiry: Here you go! *Shiry says as he brings a tray over with the food and tea*
King: Oh wow! That was quick! You do this normally? *King says as he looks at it being placed down in front of him*
Shiry: Yeah, one of the classics and favorites that I make.
King: Heh heh, well it looks delicious!
Shiry: I'm glad! *Shiry says smiling and taking a step back with his hands behind his back* Enjoy!
King was about to dig in before he looked around and realized he had no utensils. No fork, no chopsticks, nothing.
King: Uhhh, *King says looking around* Do you have a-
Shiry: Oh yeah! Ummm. . . Ah, over there. *Shiry says pointing over at the other table* Let me get that for you.
King: No need. *King says as he turns and makes his hand and eye glow*
Shiry's jaw dropped as he was in awe. He took a step back and watched as King's body emitted flames. Then, the chopsticks from the other table glowed blue as King used blue magic to bring it towards him.
King: *Grabs the chopsticks* There we go. *King then turns back to his food and see's Shiry*
Shiry: *Shaking with his mouth open in shock, and his eyes widened*
King: Uhhh. . . What? *King says as he shrugs*
Shiry: What. . . What was that?
King: Oh that? That was my magic. *King says as he uses blue magic to rip open the wrapping and grab the chopsticks* Like from earlier.
Shiry: U-um. . . What?
King: Oh wow, you really are different. *King says as he sets the chopsticks down* Well, for where I come from, monsters there have magic in them. Our entire bodies are filled with magic that we can control and manipulate to our liking depending on our race. We can also detect the magic around us and use that to our advantage to conjure our magic wherever we want, like so. *King says as his eye glows and makes a small bone appear right next to him*
Shiry: Woah! *Shiry says as he sees the bone appear out of nowhere*
King: Hehe, yeah. *King then makes the bone disappear* However, our supply isn't infinite. If we are exhausted, our magic will fail to appear or conjure. It's dependent on our endurance to conjure our magic. We can replenish our energy by any other means. Eating food, drinking, etc.
Shiry: Then, what's with the flames that you did?
King: Oh, well, some monsters contain so much magic that we can't release it by simply using magic. They also help us to focus our magic. My eye glowing with flames is the way for me to release my magical energy and focus it on my hands, which is why it glows. It then allows me to focus my magic more on objects. Like chopsticks, hehe! *King says as he grabs the chopsticks and starts to eat his food*
Shiry was so intrigued by the valuable information King shared. He took that all in as he watched King eat. King carefully ate his food while drinking the tea at the same time.
King: Hm, wow. *King says as he sips the tea and looks at it* This is really good!
Shiry: Oh, ha, thanks! *Shiry says a bit flustered as he smiled and scratches the back of his head*
King: Might be better than any other tea I've tasted. What do you put in this?
Shiry: Oh, it's a secret!
King: Huh, well whatever you're doing, keep it up. This is the best tea I've ever had! *King says as he proceeds to drink more of the tea*
A few minutes later, King finished his food and the tea. Shiry just smiled and watched.
King: *Wipes his mouth with a napkin* So, desert?
Shiry: *Smiles and exhales* Desert.
Shiry headed to the back and made a warm cup of hot chocolate with whip cream. He then made a crepe and pastries with strawberry fillings. He then came out with the desert.
Shiry: Here you go. *Shiry says as he sets the desert next to King's other dish*
King: Oh wow! *King says as his mouth drools and eyes the desert*
Shiry: Let me take those off you. *Shiry says as he grabs the tray of the other food and stumbles to the back*
King: Uh, you got it?
Shiry: Yeah. . . I do- WOAH!!! *Shiry says before he screams as he trips and falls*
FWOOM
Shiry fell to the floor as he closed his eyes and prepared for impact, but there was nothing. Not even the sound of the glass falling and breaking. He opened his eyes and looked, he saw the glass necessities and the tray stationary in the air with a blue glow around them. He tried to reach them, but also found he couldn't move. He looked around, able to turn his head and found himself was also frozen with the blue glow around him.
Shiry: W-woah!
King: You ok?
Shiry looked over and saw King standing out of his seat with his hand out and his head and hand glowing again in the direction of him.
Shiry: Y-yeah I'm fine.
King: Ok, good. *King says as he waves his hand up*
Just then, Shiry felt as he start to get up on his feet. He was then freed from the blue magical grasp, but he watched as the bowl, plate, and teacup were lifted and placed back onto the tray. The tray then floated down to Shiry. He grabbed the tray and the blue magic went away.
Shiry: Th-thanks! *Shiry says looking back at King*
King: No problem! *King says, winking* Just be more careful next time.
Shiry: That felt so weird. How did you use your magic on me?
King: Well, I'm not limited to using my magic on objects. I can use that on people and/or monsters. All I do is feel for their soul and use the magic on them. It feels weird at first, both for the person doing it and the person who receives it. But after a while you get used to it.
Shiry: H-huh. (Interesting. . . Hmm, I wonder.) *Shiry says to himself as he walks to the back*
Shiry proceeded to wash up the dishes in the back. While he was doing that, he looked over at King who was busy with his desert.
Shiry: (He. . . He's so unique. So different. I don't think I've seen anyone, or anything like him. Maybe. . . Yes!)
Shiry finished washing up the dishes as he moved over and proceeded to make 2 more teas. . .
Shiry: *Walks out with 2 teacups*
King: *Finishes his desert* Aw, that was delicious! *King says as he leans back*
Shiry: Hehe, I'm glad. But I hope you're not finished.
King: I'm a bit. *King says as he looks up and sees the two teacups* Oh? What's this?
Shiry: Well, I figured I'd give you a special tasting. Another one of my best teas.
King: Oh thanks. *King says as he reaches for one of the cups*
Shiry: Oh, wait. *Shiry says as he pulls back* This one's mine.
King: Oh, ok sorry. *King says as he pulls back*
Shiry then put the teacup down in front of King and King grabbed it as Shiry gripped the other teacup.
King: You know Shiry, for me being here for the first time, you have been amazing. How much do I owe you for all of this?
Shiry: Oh nonsene. It's on the house. As a special newcomer to here, I figured I treat you out.
King: Heh thanks. . . You really are an amazing friend Shiry! *Raises his cup*
Shiry: Haha, thanks. *Shiry says as he raises his cup*
King and Shiry then cheered as they drank their teacups until they were empty.
King: Mhm? *King says as he finishes his tea and looks at it*
Shiry: Hm? What's wrong?
King: The tea. It had a weird aftertaste.
Shiry: Oh, that's normal.
King: Are you sure? Because it feels like. . . Like. . . *King says as his eye sockets start to droop*
Shiry: *Smiles* Oh, King. I thought you would learn this; everyone should know this.
King drowsily woke up. He squinted his eyes to adjust to the room he was in. After adjusting, he found himself in a dark room, illuminated by small dim lights.
King: *Tries to stand*
SHACKLE
King: Hmmm?! *King says in confusion as he looks back, only to find his arms, legs, and tail chained behind his back and shackled to the ground behind him*
As King turned, he found himself shackled by chains, but he also noticed something else, a piece of cloth wrapped around his mouth, covering it and gagging him in the process.
King: MHMPH?! MHMMM!! MHMMMM!! MHMMMMM!!!!! *King grunts as he struggles in the chains and cloth* OMPH! *King says as his eye starts to glow slightly but fails* HMPH?!
???: Don't try it. You can't do anything now. *A voice says, echoing nearby*
King looked over and saw a silhouette standing in the darkness near a light. He then noticed bars with barred doors, King was in a cell. But King was still preoccupied with the silhouette, trying to see who it was.
King: M-mmph?! *King calls out, but with the gag, it makes him sound like a whine*
???: Don't worry, *Steps into the light*
King: MHMPH?! *King shouts as he tries to stand and move towards the figure, but the chains restrict his movements*
Shiry: Pet! Hahaha! *Shiry says as he laughs a sadistic look, looking down at King*
King had one hell of a ticklish torture at the hands of Ariel. But it kind of makes sense since King did tickle his mother. Now the tickles finally concluded, and now we witness the conclusion of the powerful bond these two have made, both mentally and magically.
Chapter 8: Mother and Son, Forever
After several minutes, Ariel's ticklish, tingly, and embarrassed torture on King finally ended. Ariel waved her hands around, then the Hearkener, Weave Blasters, Weave hands, and Weave feathers stopped tickling King and disappeared. The baseball-sized Gaster Blasters nibbling on King's neck stopped and disappeared, and Ariel stopped using her dominant voice to put King into his submissive state. The strings and stocks that bound King disappeared and dropped King to the ground on his back. Then, several non-Weave hands to rub on all the places she tickled and tingled King, effectively removing the phantom touches and also helping King in relax and caught his breath.
King: *BREATHING EXTREMELY HEAVILY. Laying on the ground as he looks straight up, not moving*
Ariel: *Moves over and looms over King, looking down at him* You ok, hon? *Ariel asks with a sorrowful face* Did I go too hard?
King: N-no. . . Your did fine. I. . . I kind of deserved it! *King smiles*
Ariel: Hehe. Come here you. *Ariel smirks as she sits down and pulls King up and hugs him*
King: Oomph! *King grunts as Ariel hugs him, with him hugging her back* Thanks mom.
Ariel: Of course, son.
King and Ariel hugged for a whole minute, and in that minute, King managed to recover completely. This allowed him to stand up and help his mother up as well.
King: Dang, *King stands up and puts his hand out to his mother on the ground still* you sure know how to use that magic, don't you?
Ariel: *Looks up at King and smiles as she grabs King hand* Yeah, *King then helps her up as she stands up* you do too!
King: Heh, yeah, but you not only created a couple of living creatures.
Ariel: Emphasis on the "living" I mean, they were blind.
King: Yeah, but that's impressive still. I had to use blaster to create life.
Ariel: Still not bad! *Ariel says as she looks her arm, pulsing with Weave*
King: *Looks at his arm, also pulsing with Weave* What kind of magic is this?
Ariel: I don't know, but one thing's sure. It's not singular, it can create anything! Even other magic.
King: *Looks around and sees strings appearing and disappearing around them* Heh. . . Hahahahahhahahahaha!!
Ariel: *Looks over at King, wondering why King's laughing* King? Are you ok? *Ariel asks, thinking that something's tickling King, but sees nothing*
King: Hahahahahahahaha!! I just find it funny! We went out on a hike to just build a closer bond, but end up finding a magic!
Ariel: *Looks at King before she smiles* Heh! Hahahahaha!
Ariel and King just stood laughing at the predicament they found themselves in before they finally stopped laughing after 2 minutes before the two of them look at each other.
King: Ha! This is amazing! I can't believe that happened.
Ariel: *Smiles* Well, *Hugs King again as she closes her eyes*
King: Hmph?! *King says as he's pulled in*
Ariel: *Opens her eyes as he eyes glow red slightly* Nothing may have gone to plan, but we did achieve our goal.
King: *Looks up at Ariel before he smiles and hugs her back, closing his eyes knowing what she meant* Heh, yeah. *King says as he opens his eyes, glowing yellow*
Ariel: Heh, finally. You promise?
King: . . . I promise.
Ariel and King: We'll be Mother and Son, forever.
At long last, Ariel and King finally solidified their bond as a Mother and Son. No longer was there a weak chain or shaky link between the two. A mother who came back from the dead, or a son who was unlike any other monster anyone's ever seen. Two monsters that people assumed were related, but not really were finally united. King and Ariel were mother and son, and they have Weave to thank for that. The two stopped hugging and started making their way out of the forest.
King: *About to put his hand into his jacket pockets, but then remembers that his jacket was ripped to shreds* Wait! *King shouts as he turns around*
Ariel: Hm? What's wrong?
King: *Looks down as sees the fabric of his shredded jacket. He drops to his knees and grabs the fabric*
Ariel: Oh. . . *Ariel says somberly as she walks over to King*
King: *Sighs* This was one of my favorite jackets ever. . . Now. . . *Sighs* I'm sure gonna miss it.
Ariel: *Looks down at King and puts her left hand on his right shoulder*
King: *Looks up at Ariel*
Ariel: Don't worry sweetie. I'll make you a new jacket that you'll love.
King: Wha. . . Are you sure?
Ariel: Uh-huh! I'll make sure of it! I'll make a new jacket. How's that sound?
King: That. . . That sounds great. *King says as he stands up and grabs the fabric of his jacket* Let's go.
King and Ariel walked away from the clearing they were in, and back onto the walkway they were on before running towards the Weave tree.
King and Ariel: *Walking along the trail*
Ariel: *Looks down at King*
King: *Looking around*
Ariel: Hey King.
King: Hm? Yes mom?
Ariel: You know, we just learned what Weave could do and did some impressive things, even though we just learned it.
King: Yeah?
Ariel: Well, we clearly have different interpretations of this magic and how it works.
King: What about it?
Ariel: Well, how about this. We should meet up whenever we can and learn more about this magic, together. . . So what do you say?
King: Of course! I can't resist spending more time with you, or learning more about magic. Doing both seems like a dream. Just promise no tickling! *King says with a smile*
Ariel: Hehehehe! Of course you'd say that. . . I can't make any promises!
King: Heh, ok. . . Because I also might've broke that promise!
Ariel and King: Pfffffft Hahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!
Ariel: Let's keep this between us, no one else can know about this magic, until the time is right.
King: Of course, let's show everyone until the time is right!
Ariel: Yeah. . . I love you, King.
King: I love you too, mom.
King and Ariel eventually left the forest and made their way back to King's house. By the time they entered King's house, the sun had fell and Ebott was now asleep. Ariel had decided to stay over at King's house since the two of them were exhausted. Not only from the tickles and walk, but because they had just learned about Weave and it took a toll on their bodies. King and Ariel ate and got ready for bed.
King: *Laying in his bed*
Ariel: *Walking past King's room*
King: Oh, mom!
Ariel: *Looks over and walks in* What's wrong sweetie?
King: Are you going to bed?
Ariel: Yeah, I was just about to head to your guest bedroom.
King: Well. . . You uh. . . *King stutters as he looks down*
Ariel: What's wrong? *Ariel asks, knowing exactly what King was about to ask*
King: Can you sleep here in my room, more specifically in my bed?
Ariel: I knew it. How old are you?
King: Hehe, yeah I know. I know. But I want to show you something.
Ariel: . . . Ok. *Ariel says as she walks over to King's bed*
Ariel got in King's King-sized bed ;), and laid on one side, with King on the other side. King then used his magic to turn off the lights to his room and turn on several neon lights that lined the corners of his room as they changed colors.
Ariel: Woah.
King: Hehe, you like it?
Ariel: Hehe, of course I do!
Ariel looked over at King, seeing him adore the lights. She then moved and to King and hugged him, putting her right arm around him.
King: *Feels his mother's arm wrap around him and looks over at her* Mom. . .
Ariel: Don't worry King. I'm not going to do anything.
King: Good. . . Because I was going to! *King says as he hugs his mother with both hands lowers into his blankets, acting all child-like*
Ariel: Hehe, I figured.
King: *Smiles and closes his eyes* Of course, mother knows best after all. Good night, mom.
Ariel: *Smiles and closes her eyes as she hugs and curls up on King* Good night, son.
Then, the two closed their eyes and slept on the bed, falling asleep together. The two relived that the two of them finally having a,
