I'm not complaining however<3 I'll skip 1 since thats pretty heavily under construction or in solid: "Doesn't matter that much, thats not where they live now" territory Uhhh since you didn't specify anyone, I'll do the Ocs I felt like<3

33. How does your OC handle jealousy?

(I'll put my replies under the cut)

🪐Dee:

Not good<3 Another emotion that will simmer and sit inside of her chest like a smouldering lump of coal, slowly corroding her insides. She doesn't like being jealous. she doesn't WANT to be jealous. So she suppresses it- like every other emotion she doesn't like and pretends isn't there. Needless to say, she doesn't handle jealousy well :D

She won't EVER show it either, and is much more prone to disengaging and pulling away when she gets jealous. She's a major self saboteur and will sprint in the other direction as quickly as she can, once she got a good enough excuse to leave you. You will be better off with that other person anyways!

💾Monroe:

I think Monroe is generally very nonplussed about jealousy. Asteriks- however!! They're in no way normal,,

Monroe usually doesn't have to worry about much in ways of jealousy. (Not like anyone can compare, really.) Especially not with Dee or Cherry; Who are both people that keep others at a distance and aren't prone to attach to anyone, if they can help it. ..That being said. They really only feel this secure because there's never been any serious competition to begin with. Aaaand it probably 🤏 helps that they keep tabs on the people they're very close to (among others).

(TLDR: Monroe is obsessed and in love with Dee and taking her relationship with George very well :) )

Nowadays Monroe is much more intimately familiar with jealousy. They seethe and practically choke on it. Who can begrudge them the occasional violent intrusive thought or gore-y daydream? After their several sabotage attempts failed they had to begrudgingly call it quits, and 🙄 "play nice", urgh. Not that that keeps them from antagonizing the shit out of George. If Georges death didn't bring so many irksome little complications with it, they probably would've been tempted to find a way to kill her. Alas...

🍋Limone:

Limones an odd situation, they aren’t the type to be particularly jealous, in my mind. At least not generally, and it would be so hypocritical of them if they were; They bounce around a lot (and did so occasionally while married). They kiss, suck, and fuck indiscriminately of their relationship status. They get interested in one person, hyperfixate on them for weeks or months on end, and its like the sun decided to shine its warmest ray on them. Only to float to the next person and repeat the process all over again.

But then there's instances where I feel like they would get jealous, maybe even possessive (not that they could parse that emotion). So are they possessive after all? Do they want-/ like to feel like they’re someone’s priority, after all, despite being flaky as all hell?

They're a major hypocrite if so.

(So - may only apply under certain conditions for certain people)

🍰Berrie:

Berries jealousy stems more from the fact that she is extremely insecure forever and always- in addition to their terrible self esteem. She's terrified of being left behind for someone better. They don't think they're allowed to be jealous either, because you're settling for her anyways. There's barely any advantages to dating them unless you're a- um.. lets say.. certain type of person. She tries to suppress her insecurity and jealousy as best as she can, because nothing is worse than someone who's desperate. But that only holds for so long.. Shed probably get way needier and more openly insecure. Eventually breaking by showing up in front of you- drunk out of her mind, sobbing, throwing up, clinging to your leg, while looking absolutely wretched.

🍒Cherry:

She's jealous, even when she has no business being jealous, and she will make sure that you feel at fault for it. Be prepared to grovel, or appease her, or fuck off already. (She's also a hypocrite though. Because she'd eventually feel suffocated and could get annoyed if she had to deal with someone like herself.) So. Not that good haha

Cherry is a deeply jealous Person once she really really attaches to someone. She's being very good about Dee, but that's mostly because her and Monroe are.. very similar in a lot of ways. They both have an inherent understanding of each other that makes it easy for the both of them to feel secure about the other and above it all. She still had times where she got extremely, scathingly jealous and Monroe had to make things up to her. (The fight they had about it was probably nasty).

🍊Mellow:

Mellow floats above it all in some ways. Why be jealous when a Mothers love will trump anyone and anything? You don't seriously expect her to take you seriously?

Though I imagine if she felt threatened she might turn cloyingly suffocating, or go the completely other direction. silent treatment and cold disregard to make you insecure. Otherwise I'm not sure shed really let herself feel jealousy. She had to suppress so much from when she was young. Whats one more thing added to the pile? She has such a tight grip on herself that she will squash any unease as easily as she might a bug.

I first heard about Baby Storme here on tumblr, actually, about two years ago (I think it was the post with This city is a Graveyard), but only went to actually find her music this year, and it was good, you should look her up !

This actually is the korean version of No More Lies, but i prefer the korean version ! The band is German, but Ji-in is Korean and i think it makes for a good musical mix !!

La Bouche - Forget Me Nots

I went through a binge of like... I guess EDM/eurodance, this year, but mostly i focussed on the 90's and early 2000's cause that's what I remembered hearing on the radio as a kid, usually in the evening, in the car, when we were on the way back late from an outing. While I did remember La Bouche in general, I didn't know/remember that one, but she started singing and i was like oooooh Men in Black ! (which in turn got me looking for the original btw) and it's been regularly stuck in my head since.

So i was downloading some Shilfee so I could complete the discography, and also because i wanted to see if I could find Chichiro in at least 320 kbps. I didnt, but what i did get, is a message from the user i was downloading from. They suggested i looked into OCQ (which is another Furukawa Tomo project), and this person didn't know it, but I was smack in the middle of my MAYOHK binge and their suggestion came on fucking point, omgoooth !!! I think its the first time im told i should listen to something and that actually 100% agree lmao

Pierre Lapointe - Dans Nos Veines

This song made me feel like the cover of the album ngl. It hit me hard and its so hard to fucking sing, he pronounces everything so fucking fast, but like holy shit. It does sound/feel like the same kind of storm of emotions that the lyrics also convey (i'm not translating that, but google should do a decent job at doing that :3). Like you know, when you fall in love and the yearning is being replaced by NRE ? Yeah its that.

When I finally put my hands on DEMIGOD, it was indeed white outside, and there was something about listening to this song while walking in the snow. It was a bit reminiscent of Ophelia, too, tbh. Both being composed by Hora, i kinda just take them as sister pieces :3

Tarja - Diva

Ok, this song made me go re-read what was the drama when she was kicked out of Nightwish and how they felt the need to lie about her being a diva instead of saying they wanted a softer sound, and then I came to learn that Annette Olzon was also fired cause she got pregnant and therefore refused to tour abroad while pregant and tbh... At this point idk that I can care much about fucking Nightwish anymore. (though it makes me wonder what Floor Jansen's contract look like, i mean they didnt fire her cause she got pregnant twice, so uh...) Meanwhile, Tarja's doing what she wants and its usually good. Particularly if you like christmas music lol (i dont lmao)

Not gonna lie, I hear the Malice Mizer behind a lot of their song, but its particularly present in this one !!

So update on me: I’m working on three graphic novels at the moment.

Guardian of the Sun:

Orphans Nash and Nova struggle for everyday survival, but they make it by scamming people for money, food, and clean air—because air has now become a commodity. With Sunchild Cordelia choosing to stay in the castle instead of spreading light to the land, the North has fallen into despair. Trees have all but disappeared, food has become scarce, and two kids living on their own can't do much. They travel from village to village, but decide to take their act to a new place. The Inner Cirlce is where most of the wealth lies, so Nova takes her little brother and marches out. But Nash is getting sicker by the day, and he needs clean air soon—or else.

Open Closet Queer:

A short graphic novel piece about my roommate and I, our journeys of sexuality and gender, and us meeting and becoming friends.

For the Monsters of Man:

Twins Alvera and Alaster are just babies when they are abducted by Lab 1 for experiments to make Advanced Humans. All is generally terrible, and the torture is extreme—making stronger, faster, smarter kids with superpowers is no small feat, and the scientists do not care for their subjects and see them as numbers and letters in a notebooks—or as animals, or, even worse, monsters of their own creation. To make matters even more gruesome, kids are pitted against each other for testing, and the winner survives and gets their meal as a prize: the loser. Alaster and Alvara just want out, and with their healing abilities, they might just make it—but only if no one else tries to eat them.

Hopefully I’ll be back to soon to talk about writing with everyone again!

First time Nukkle sleeps with a stuffed animal, he is about 40 y/o.

With his son’s stuffed shark, named Cuscus. His daughter has a favourite stuffed orange salamander called Princess Tangerine and Nukkle will sleep with it too... sometimes even with both Cuscus and Princess Tangerine.

🍋Body Language - Limone the Human (They/Them)🍋

Their Intro Post / Some More Rambles

It’s a peppy, coquettish kind of catwalk. Not slow or languid in its sultriness. Its Bouncy- (quite literally lmao) all swaying curves - breasting extremely boobily and unabashedly so. They’re pretty speedy for someone with short legs and have been known to straight up skip on occasion.

Maybe smth like THIS

Limone has an air about them, when they’re walking or standing or just about anywhere- like they naturally belong in whatever space they’re occupying. Like there is no place they couldn’t be comfortable and confident in. (That is the truth— if you don’t count the forest) Their posture is way too good. Unnaturally so. Nobody should be allowed to stand that straight. It’s odd, really. Please stop, slouch a little?

Whenever they are doing bad (and only when theyre alone), they stop walking normally entirely. Just held up by their vines like a puppet on a string. Maneuvering through their apartment like a lethargic Doc Ock. If they were in actual pursuit of someone/hunting someone down they would probably move just like miss Olivia Octavius Spiderverse. There’s a notable stillness when they stand, it’s incredibly uncanny. It's a frequent occurrence that they're so motionless that you would mistake them for an object out of the corner of your eye, like they’re rooted in place— Until they suddenly start to fidget - it's quite a sudden change then: Rocking back and forth on their feet, tapping rhythms into the ground, one hand drumming their fingers against their hips or thighs. the other hand on their waist; moving their hands all over their body: intertwined hands over their chest, framing it, or over their stomach. brushing back their hair or playing with it. both hands placed on the back of their waist as they look around. They frequently check up or reapply lipstick when there's no one around.

I think this gif does a good job showcasing how they'd sit The way Limone sits is surprisingly elegant. (Until they start to fidget again) Once again good posture: chest pushed out a little, shoulders back, hands in their lap. Although they might end up fully leaned forward by the end of a conversation. Arms propped up on the table or their lap, cleavage pushed together because of it. Unconsciously trying to get as close to the other person as possible. Enthusiastically gesturing while talking and totally engrossed while listening. I can also see them draped over- or in someone’s lap (or the other way around.) by the end of a night.

Limone is very expressive for someone with the emotional capacity of a walnut. They usually always smile and quickly revert back to that smile - whenever they’re in their usual euphoric mood. I don’t see that change much, not even when they’re alone. Maybe their smile is a little smaller and less intense without someone to focus it on. They are still plenty expressive despite that. They will pout easily when something doesn’t go their way, scrunch their mouth up or purse their lips in confusion. Whine when briefly unhappy or annoyed and prone to rubbing or scratching at their neck when in discomfort. They grin when elated - with any big open mouthed, smiles. Chuckling or laughter - hidden behind their hand, to conceal their black tongue. They really don’t try to restrain or hide any of their expressions otherwise. They only have two emotional states so a change in demeanor is extremely easy to notice. Put them in front of Lilla, in the forest, start making them go cold or god forbid- angry and their smile drops entirely. It’s not deliberate. Their emotional state just works like a switch. It might as well be like their emotiveness has been put on ice.
