I tried to make the patches look like stars, except for the patch over her eye. It still kind of keeps the star shape, but moreso it looks like a scar. A wound. Hidden under her bangs like a secret :)
Speaking of bangs, big fan of characters with ulterior motives having an eye hidden... Only for that eye to be revealed once their true motives are. So. Obviously had to do it for her!
I don't think the eye works. This Shatterpatch was maybe born with it like that and the eyelid atrophied due to lack of use? I know that's how human eyelids work when an eye isn't in use from a young age, idk if cats are like that too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I color picked from her in-game sprite but then desaturated her a little bit. For funsies. And because I prefer to play on genemod, so if Shatterpatch were actually in my save she probably would be more of a dilute grey than blue!
The first version is my attempt to mimic the StarClan water background lol I'm in LOVE with the way you depict StarClan in the comic but I simply. Would not survive. If I had to do that myself. Painting space & galaxies is my weakness
Her ear tufts are very floppy. Very thick fur that flops around everywhere when she moves her head. Does that make sense? No. Did I add that just because I enjoy drawing floppy ear tufts? 100000%. All cats deserve ear tufts.
Her cheek fluff and bangs are ALSO floppy as well
