Feral and Nima out for a rare beach day.

Nima is my new Zygerrian OC, they’re a political activist and extremely hard working. Feral somehow convinced her to take a day to relax with him at the beach. how can anyone say no to feral’s sweet face tho?

OC SUMMER CHALLENGE

Day 1: Camping

Eversince she was ten years old and attacked by a werewolf Alpha and turned into a werecoyot, Marlow Stilinski has been terrified to death of camping.

Now, her two best friends Riley Parrish and Mason Hewitt are looking to change that. Mason still feels guilty, convinced that his inviting Marlow to that fateful camping trip back in the day caused Marlow's life to turn upside down. So now he's compensating too much for it.

Meanwhile Riley is trying to keep their campsite running smoothly, what with a bear circling them and robbing them of their food, another campsite starting a feud with them which leads the trio to having to play a game of flag football against them, and Marlow trying to get her dad and boyfriend to pick her up at any turn.

Summer Thunderstorm

OC Summer Prompt day 15: Thunderstorms! With Nima and Feral <3

415 words, soft, fluff drabble, note that Nima's pronouns are They/She, mentions of nightsister abuse

Nima’s hands, covered in lumps of red Dathomir soil, held out a bulbous plant to Feral.

“See, I told you these would grow here.”

“I thought only the Nightsister magick could grow things.” He took the vegetable in his hand and it turned it around, eyes big with fascination.

“Nope. It’s important for your clan to be self-sufficient. You don’t need to tolerate their abuse and stronghold. Now you can grow your own food to feed the animals you wish to farm. Soon you won’t need them at all.”

“I wish that were true, Nima,” Feral’s eyes scanned up to Nima’s with a sad expression haunting his features.

“It can be, Feral. You just have to fight for it.”

Feral opened his mouth to respond when a giant raindrop landed right on his nose causing his face to crinkle up. Nima couldn’t help but giggle at the silly expression squishing his handsome features.

“It’s only a little rain,” they laughed out.

“I know, but I’m so sweet, I’ll melt if we stay out in it.”

Nima rolled their blue eye, the silver cybernetic one never appeared to move. Feral wondered if it really did stay stationary or if he couldn’t tell it was moving because of it’s unvarying appearance.

“Well, we best go in and have some tea then,” Nima declared,wiping the dirt from their hands on their green pants and clasping Feral’s. They sauntered to their shared cabin, only a short walk back. A bright light illuminated the sky in a flash of power. A few seconds passed and a clap of thunder shook the world around them.

Nima’s sensitive ears twitched and sank down a bit. Their skin pebbled and twitched as more giant rain drops fell onto them both. Feral opened his mouth to catch one on his tongue. Nima laughed again and rushed them into the cabin. The small wooden door made a soft clattering upon being latched shut.

The rain pattered on the durasteel roof of the cabin in a rhythmic dance of nature.

“I’ll put the kettle on,” she declared as Feral went to sit on the sofa and watch the rain from the window. Droplets streaking down the transparisteel in soft lazy trails. He pondered the possibilities of no longer being subservient to the Nightsister clan. Could it ever happen for them? He really hoped so.

OC SUMMER CHALLENGE

Day 10: Stargazing

Nina lay on the cold ground, her wild hair contained in a bun that she had wrestled with for thirty minutes. She hadn't thought to bring a blanket, just needed to get away from it all for a bit.

A few weeks ago she was back home in Riverside, ready to head off to veterinary school and hopefully return one day to help out her father. But now, she was a monster, and her Dad hated her and nearly killed her.

The young werewolf sighed, looking up at the stars. It was an unreasonably cold night for a Californian summer and she was starting to regret not having brought a jacket or a blanket.

The crunching of leaves nearby made her shoot up. "Hello?"

Someone stepped out of the bushes. A tall dude, brown skin, glorious beard. A sweet smile crossed his face. He raised his hands, a flashlight hung off his wrist from the strap it was attached to. The other hand was clutching a small stuffed animal.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I just needed to find this."

Nina chuckled, putting a hand up to her heart. She blew out a sigh of relief. "You scared me for a second," she started. "You don't see someone stumble out of a bush in the evening everyday."

The young man laughed. "You're right, I look insane. But my kid really likes this bear and I have been looking for it all day."

"You have a kid? You look a little young," Nina said, then immediately put up her hands. "Not that I'm judging. It's just that the community I'm from always frowned on having kids so young. I'm sorry now I'm just making a fool of myself."

He came up and sat down next to Nina. "No worries, I understand. There has been a lot of baby mama drama lately. But, you know, someone has to step up to the plate."

Nina nodded. "Good for you for doing that."

He nodded. "So what brings you out here in the evening, if I may ask?"

Nina smiled at him, looking up at the stars once more. "Daddy issues."

"Oof."

Nina laughed. "Yeah, you can say that again," she said. She laid back down on the ground with a big sigh. "I've been here for a couple of weeks. In Beacon Hills, I mean. My Dad kind of attacked me and I had to flee. Doctor Deaton found me on the side of the road and nursed me back to health, basically."

"Wow."

"Sorry, I'm just trauma dumping now."

"No, no, you're all good. I just...wow...that's a lot, isn't it?"

Nina nodded. He laid down next to her and looked up at the stars as well. After a few minutes of silence he spoke once more. "You know, Deaton is an old friend of my family. So I assume we'll be seeing each other more from now on."

"Oh?"

"Yep! My name is Jean, by the way. Jean Mangal."

"I'm Nina. It's nice to meet you, Jean."

OC SUMMER CHALLENGE

Day 7: Sandcastle Building Competition

The summer after their graduation year, Kippi takes Paisley and signs them up for a sandcastle building competition a few towns over. She has a reputation to uphold and a record to beat.

Good then, that Paisley was never interested in the competition to begin with and stalks off to read a book nearby.

Because, even though he had been banned from the competition the year prior, Teddy Green is back with a vengeance, and a title to uphold as well.

Only this time around he brings the new pet snake that he got with his girlfriend Ruby. When Slippy escapes off his shoulder and into the sand, the competition turns into a frenzy as everyone desperately attempts to look for the snake.

OC SUMMER CHALLENGE

Day 9: Sleepover

Eversince Riley arrived in Beacon Hills, she and Marlow have used their Saturdays for sleepovers. When Nixie and Tilly got to town, the fun doubled.

The girls use their Saturday sleepovers to cool off, vent about the guys in their lives, and prepare for the following weekdays.

Sometimes it gets a little deeper than they intended it to. But if you can't have some deep conversations with your friends every once in a while, then what's the point of it all?

OC SUMMER CHALLENGE

Day 5: Summer School AU

One test. Marlow had missed one stupid test. Okay, fine, maybe she has missed twenty stupid tests. But what was she supposed to do? Let her idiot brother and his slightly more sensible friend run Beacon Hills into the ground? They needed her help, and now she was getting punished for keeping everyone in town safe.

So while her boyfriend Liam and best friend Mason get to enjoy their summer and go on vacations with their families, Marlow is stuck inside boiling hot classrooms of Beacon Hills High School.

Well, at least her other best friend Riley is there as well, and she's just as pissed off as Marlow. How is fair to nearly hold a kid back because they're failing P.E? What does she need P.E. for later in life? It doesn't help that she needs to retake a couple of History quizzes as well.

So now both girls are stuck at the school with a bunch of other stragglers, trying to help each other out in their respective lacking subjects so that they can go out and enjoy whatever is left of their summer.
