Cozy Camp OC Asks
How does your Tav/Durge spend time in camp? These little moments are the ones I think about the most and wish we could see more of in BG3. If you have any other ideas for questions feel free to drop them in the comments and I'll edit this post to add them!

What does their bed look like? Does that change over time as they find more merchants and towns?
What are they like in the mornings?
What's their favorite meal on the road?

ARTFIGHT DAY 3 (part two): attack on Headless609
Unlearning the "Gatekeeper" Mentality: How Publishing Advice Ruined My Creative Friendships (And How I’m Reclaiming My Muse)
Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of deep internal archiving on my own behavior, my mental health, and how I interact with the creative communities on this dash. For a long time, I operated under a very specific, iron-clad rule that dictated how I handled my stories, my original characters (OCs), and my creative world-building in private spaces.
Years ago, during a period where I was being mentored by an established, high-profile author regarding traditional and self-publishing paths, I was given a foundational piece of advice: Never discuss your specific plot points, your unique lore, or your character arcs one-on-one in private messages. Keep your cards close to your chest, because people can and will steal your intellectual property before it ever sees the light of day.
At the time, within the context of commercial publishing contracts and corporate industry structures, that advice felt like a necessary shield. It made sense. So, I internalized it. I built a fortress around my work. I stopped talking about my characters in DMs.
If someone approached me to ask about my narratives, I would retreat behind emojis, keep my answers short and polite, or redirect the conversation entirely. I limited my deep character analysis to structured Tumblr character studies, as seen here, or finalized chapters posted to AO3 and here. I only allowed myself to truly gush about my writing to my husband, keeping the rest of the digital world at arm's length.
But here is the truth I’ve realized after a month of profound mental clarity, thanks to getting my health stabilized on HRT and finally clearing away years of heavy brain fog: Importing commercial, scarcity-minded publishing rules into community-driven spaces like Writeblr and fanfiction is absolute poison for human connection.
When you are navigating Avoidant Personality Disorder (AVPD) and chronic trauma, your brain is always looking for a logical reason to justify pulling away from people. My mind took that industrial publishing advice and weaponized it as a perfect excuse to stay hidden.
It told me that keeping silent was professionalism and protecting my art, when in reality, it was just a localized manifestation of my avoidant loops.
Fanfiction and creative writing archives do not exist in a vacuum of corporate competition. They are built on the beauty of overlapping ideas. We are all pulling from the same mythological wells, the same cultural touchstones, and the same emotional landscapes. Two writers can look at the exact same character, the exact same trope, or the exact same narrative prompt and produce two completely distinct universes, because our individual voices are shaped by our completely unique lived experiences. No one can steal the specific way your soul interacts with a story.
By guarding my original character, Bianca, and her dynamic with Sephiroth like a locked vault and releasing snippets and the other stuff like it was the Disney Vault in the 90s, I wasn’t just protecting my intellectual property. I was actively starving my friendships of the very warmth, passion, and creative energy that makes online spaces sustainable.
I was leaving the entire burden of starting conversations on my friends, while I stood at the edges, terrified that showing my creative heart would lead to exploitation or rejection.
If you are a writer on this dash who has ever been told to hide your work, to keep your characters secret, or to treat your mutuals like potential competitors who are waiting to plagiarize your drafts: please give yourself permission to drop that heavy armor. It is an incredibly lonely way to create. It turns an act of radical vulnerability and joy into an exercise in suspicion and hyper-vigilance.
I am actively working on doing better. Both in therapy and out of it. Now that the physical and neurological fog is lifting, I want to learn how to actually gush about my characters with the people I care about and gush about theirs in turn. I want to share the quiet, soft moments—like the subtle mechanics of how Bianca and Sephiroth hold hands in an upcoming scene (yes this happens. yes, it happens under a blanket with a sleeping Zack in the next bed. yes, I was smiling like an idiot writing it)—without feeling like I am breaking a rule or exposing a vulnerability.
To my mutuals and friends who have carried the weight of reaching out to me and maintaining our friendship while I was hiding behind these rules. Thank you for your patience, your reaching out, sharing memes about Bianca and your ocs, your interests to connect in FF14, telling me to dm you if things got bad, your book recommendations, and your steady presence.
The vault is opening up, the muse is awake, and I’m looking forward to sharing the sandbox with you all again.
I am actively working on doing better. But I also want to be realistic with myself and with everyone here. I am not going to change overnight.
Unlearning a protective behavior that I have strictly enforced from 2015 up until now is going to take a lot of time, patience, and practice. There are still going to be days when the AVPD feels heavy, or where my energy drops, and I retreat into my drafts. The difference now is that I know why I am doing it, and I am actively trying to build bridges instead of fortresses.
Love you all.
A VERY SPECIFIC WORK DYNAMIC 💜 — pairings on assignments together!
when did they realize they could trust each other with their lives?
what’s something they understand about the life they lead?
do they have their back in a way no one else could?
are there unspoken moments between them? how do they navigate that?
when did they become more than teammates?
favorite moments together?
a memory of shared sadness.
a memory of shared laughter.
what scares them more: losing their partner, or not being able to save them?
what’s something they’d never admit to anyone else, but would confide in their partner?
is there a line they’d never cross for them? would they blur lines? erase them completely?
their partner gets targeted: follow protocol or vengeance?
staying together for the assignment or choosing to split up?
did they ever have the responsibility to check if their partner was still breathing during an assignment?
did they ever have have a close call together?
do they notice anything different about them when they’re on the field?
trust blindly? yes or no?
would they follow orders or trust their partner’s word more?
what part of the job changes when their partner is with them?
reckless tendencies or protective tendencies?
do they handle distance well?
what would they carry with them that reminds them of their partner?
communication preferences? (Sporadic texts, phone calls, bracelet tracker,…)
how would they react if faced with the news the other wouldn’t come back?
would they be prepared?
what would haunt them the most?
would they forgive themselves?
what would they say at their grave?
how would they remember them?
when all is said and done, how would they describe their relationship, dynamic, vibes with their partner?
Meet Willow! 💜🦇 (Cyberchase Oc)
[Art Drawn By - Catnipsystem On Bsky]
Willow is a dark purple Cybat and she's the princess of the bat kingdom, "Nightopia" which is another Cybersite In Cyberspace, she's the Daughter of King Bruce and Queen Morticia, Willow has been unfortunately sheltered for most of her life, being unable to forbidden to ever leave the palace walls, spending her life trapped within the confines of the royal home despite all the luxury and grandness her life offered, it still was too much and not what Willow wanted, it also didn't help for how overprotective her parents were mainly due to how dangerous Cyberspace can be. Willow's Parents became more protective and placed more laws over the kingdom with Hacker being a huge threat over the entire universe especially since their kingdom ended up becoming a target by him so many years ago at one point with Willow being the main target that was used against the kingdom when she was a baby. As she was given a special necklace that was originally owned by her grandmother, who gifted it to her before passing on. The necklace was created centuries ago by an unknown force In 'Happily Ever Afterville', The necklace has the power to reward it's wearer with magical powers and abilities for each good deed she (or he, depending on who wears it) do, but it can also curse them if a deed is bad, and it can cause harm and become a huge threat if it lands into the wrong hands. It became very famous among by so many in Cyberspace and was even highly coveted by those who knew the truth about it, Willow's Grandmother was gifted this necklace at a young age and was picked as the holder and protector of the necklace, it's been passed on from many generations, with Willow being the next one in line as the protector, originally Bruce and Morticia were gonna wait until Willow got older to be gifted the necklace but Willow's Grandmother knew she wouldn't be around long to see her granddaughter grow up, and so she wanted this moment to be special and let her daughter to receive her gift when she's here, even though she's too young to understand. The necklace contained many powerful abilities as mentioned with one of them being a powerful magic used to protect themselves from any dangerous forces, with The Hacker being one of them and not just him, but other forces that were just as power hungry as Hacker and for many years it's been protected from any threat, but something changed when Hacker ended up sending and invading Nightopia to not only conquer the kingdom but also to take the necklace which contained kidnapping Willow (who's a baby during this time, when it happened) and wanting to use the necklace's power to take over both Cyberspace and destroying Motherboard for good. But thankfully while the kingdom was able to successfully able to stop Hacker from doing any more harm and harming Willow, it unfortunately didn't come without a price as not only did Hacker ended up burning down some buildings and areas in the kingdom, Willow's Grandmother also ended up getting throw into the mix as she ended up getting killed after being crushed by a building from trying to save and protect some of the villages from the invasion chaos, and this caused turmoil and fear for everyone due to this tragedy.
So in order to protect their daughter, Bruce did what was best for not only his people and subjects but also for his family, Willow especially, which resulted in keeping anyone from leaving the palace including Willow, as this forbidden her from being able to travel, make connections or genuinely live her life, she also had so many expectations on her with her being next to rule her kingdom, Willow truly felt suffocated by the laws of her kingdom and all the expectations that were placed on her but almost everyone, this left her with the desire to see the world and experience life outside of being a sheltered princess. Having been sheltered most of her life due to her social status, Willow spent her childhood loneliness as she was denied any friendship or genuine interactions, despite having the love and respect by so many, the constant pressure and stress Willow has dealt with was too much to bare, the only interactions Willow has had ever since she was a child was having suitors her age come over, but that didn't mean much as these "playdates" that her parents would would were only designed in helping her find the one for her so that she can prepare herself for marriage and find someone to rule the kingdom with besides her, but those interactions didn't mean anything and didn't last long either and had nothing of value, so Willow ended up spending most of her time feeling lonely and pressured.
And all this emotional and psychological impact of having her entire life controlled and her existence reduced to nothing more than an object of desire caused Willow to feel rather rebellious and not to mention made her slightly distant from her parents, along with being closed off and quiet. She felt like she's never had a say in anything with her suggestions and dreams being either shut down or ignored, with her parents insisting they know what's best for her, in order to keep her safe and happy. But even despite all that, Willow does take her role as the princess very seriously and responsibility, she cares deeply for her people and her parents, she's also rather free-spirited, confident, and kind and even despite being in high status she doesn't use it against anyone else or uses her status to belittle and shame anyone. Whenever people praise and bow down to her, she brushes it off and assures anyone not to do that even if it's out of respect, she'd like to be seen as herself rather than just being 'The Princess Of Her Kingdom'. Willow is also rather selfless as well too, often never being concerned about her own well-being and showing and putting more care into her family and anyone she comes across and meets. But she's not afraid to speak her mind, nor will she hesitate to stand up for what she believes is right, not letting anyone talk down to her. But she's not without her faults though, firstly, Willow is known and can be a people pleaser, she will most often fall over backwards and do anyone to get people to like her, even to her own detriment. While it's good for her to care for others she can sometimes have a toxic positive outlook and tends to push and shove away her own feelings and happiness aside to help and please others even if it hurts, at times she doesn't fully realize it, but she's always willing to do anything to please anyone. And despite being polite and respectful Willow is known to get frustrated and hotheaded, sometimes letting simple stuff get to her, and she tends to not always think ahead at times and wanting to rush ahead, she likes to think she knows more about the world than what she really knows and has been taught which makes her come across as native and stubborn even if she means well, and quite intelligent.
Relationships:
Bruce And Morticia (Her Parents): "Because of how overprotective and slightly strict her parents have been almost her entire life, it caused Willow to be seen at odds with her parents and be distant from them, putting a small strain in their relationship. But nevertheless it's truly clear that both Bruce and Mortica care deeply care for their daughter, always wanting to see her happy and succeed and overall wanting nothing but the best for Willow. Along with that, Bruce and Mortica know they won't be here forever and there'll be a time when it's Willow's time to settle down and raise the kingdom, and she'll need someone by her side. Even though they don't entirely like forcing and pressuring their daughter into arranged marriages, all their behavior and this strictness comes from wanting to make sure Willie is safe and taken care of and overall provided for after once they pass and she's the new heir to the kingdom. And with the tragedy that happened in their kingdom years ago, it caused Bruce especially to grow more strict and overprotective over Willow, after the death of his mother and seeing how dangerous Hacker was/can be, Bruce only wanted to do what was best for his family, in assuring everyone would be protective and safe from any more threatening harm that may come to the kingdom again. Willow also shows great care and respect towards her parents, always wanting to make them happy and not disappoint them, she'll always open to her parents in times of need."
"Willow has a genuine and great relationship with her mother and has always looked up to her, always seeing her as a inspiration, especially as she's sacrificed so much for this family, Morticia sees Willow as a blessing, her miracle and being the best thing that ever happened to both her and Bruce. Morticia always wanted to have children and be a mother but wasn't able to unfortunately wasn't able to until she got blessed having Willow and the rest was history. Even if Mortica and Willow don't always see eye to eyes and Mortica has her own flaws and issues, she's overall a loving and devoted mother, she has shown to adore and support Willow with her whole being. Willow loves her father with all her heart, he was the closest to Willow as a kid and the parent she had the most fun with growing up, even being seen as a daddy's girl. But the only issue is that Bruce is very overprotective of his son, more than his wife, mostly because of the tragic death of her mother at the hands of Hacker after he invaded their kingdom. After his mother died, Bruce wanted to make the kingdom a more secure and safer home, he wouldn't let his daughter go anywhere outside the castle not even going to simpler places around cyberspace even if they were harmless, Bruce didn't let his daughter go anywhere for a long time and was worried about her constantly almost 24/7 causing Willow to feel somewhat annoyed and trapped by that as she had dreams of exploring and doing her own thing outside of the castle, one of the things she's dreamed of is having her own shop and explore but due to the trauma of what happened to his mother, not to mention losing some of his people in the process, it caused him to be more overprotective of his loved ones which Willow understands entirely but it still doesn't bother her any less, but regardless Willow loves her parents dearly and will do anything to help them."
Digit: "Both Willow and Digit ended up actually meeting another in R-Fair City after Willow decided to run away after a heated argument with her parents, she ended up running away to spend some time away from the kingdom and to have some fun. She had to disguise herself in order to blend in with everyone else so nobody expects a thing as the last thing she needs is anyone crowding her when discovering who she is, she wants to be as normal as possible. Both Digit and Willow have romantic feelings for each other, but are too scared and shy to confess their true feelings, despite them being obvious to others, even Hacker, Buzz and Delete to see their obvious feelings. And Throughout their time spent together, despite not having confessed their feelings just yet, Digit and Willow have a genuine and healthy friendship, always looking out for one another and doing anything and everything to support the other. Willow helps Digit get more out of his comfort zone and teaches him to love himself more no matter how many flaws he has, as he's known to be rather clumsy and can often make many mistakes which makes him feel ashamed, thinking it's a huge problem with him, but Willow shows him how to love himself and tells him that nobody's perfect, not to mention his clumsiness, yet sweet, well-meaning meaner is one of the things that made her fall in love with Digit in the first place, especially with how brave and selfless he is even despite everything. And most especially, Willow loves how even dealing with a huge threat as big as Hacker, even dealing and having so many mistakes and going through so much, Digit is still always able to pick himself back up and never gives up. Meanwhile with Digit he gives Willow a chance to be herself and actually treats her as an equal, a real person, while also offering her the freedom she desires from her stifling, sheltered life, and shows genuine kindness to her."
"Both also have a love and passion for cooking as Willow used to bake a lot with her mother growing up, she's always dreamed of having her own baker someday and being able to connect with someone with the same interests meant a lot of Willow, she's almost never been able to form and have any genuine both also have a love and desire for adventure as well, Digit genuinely fell for Willow. Their relationship is a slowburn and didn't happen right away, their relationship developed over the course of time, while they were attracted and did have a "love at first sight" moment both of them didn't go crazy for looks alone, there's more to their relationship than that. They slowly opened up and getting to know one another better, their relationship developed beautifully the more closer and closer they got, Digit saw more than to Willow's royal status and saw her as a beautiful, kind, incredible and intelligent girl, he saw he had so much going for her in life and Willow felt glad that she was able to find someone who truly accepted and liked her for her, what was in her heart, not for what she could give, that's all she's ever wanted in life but she's never been able to get but Digit truly changed something within her. As both spent time with one another, both started to enjoy each other's preference and saw they had a lot in common, it didn't take long for them to eventually go out on a date. Even though he was an absolute nervous wreck and shy about all of this, Digit was the one who made the first move by asking her out one night, and while Willow was nervous as she's never exactly been on a date before but she was eventually convinced by Morticia to give it a chance, she encouraged her daughter to give it a chance and boy was Willow glad she agreed because her first date ended up going extremely well! They ended up having their first date at a park together and it went well, Willow especially loved every second of it, she loved the time she spent with Digit especially as he had this fun, wholesome and genuine presence that made the night all the more magical and less overwhelming. Willow ended up kissing Digit on the cheek after their date and then as more time passed, both started to go out more and spend more time together before they eventually confessed their love for one another and finally date. And while most were happy for the two seeing them become an item, it took awhile for others to accept them mainly for Bruce, because while he was happy for his daughter finally being able to be happy and find the one for her, while he truly does mean well he ended up being very judgmental towards Willow's relationship with Digit. While he has respect for Digit especially for his and The Cybersquad efforts and bravery to protect all of Cyberspace, he wasn't what he expected nor even wanted as a partner for his daughter, he didn't feel Digit was right for Willow. While again he was well-meaning and protective, he mostly came across as both harsh and rude, it took awhile for Bruce to accept Digit and Willow's relationship mostly as he just wanted his daughter to be protected and was afraid of letting her go, but after getting to see how much Digit makes his daughter happy he knew that Willow would be in good hands."
Jackie, Inez And Matt: "Willow almost acts as a motherly aunty future towards The Cybersquad as she's always looking out for the kids and wanting to make sure they're safe and alright, she'll always sit down to help out whenever either or three of them are struggling with a situation and trying to figure things out, they'll often give them which bring the kids around when they are discouraged, with Willow often accompanying herself and joining their adventures whenever she's able to. It didn't take long for The Cybersquad to immediately take a liking to Willow due to the fact that she's a princess and lived in a beautiful and gorgeous castle filled with so much wonder and joy but they also loved her presence due to how fun, supportive, loveable and how lively she is despite being from a high status, she wasn't what they expected. Inez and Jackie are the ones who have fun with Willow the most while Matt himself is natural but also has a liking for Willow even though she's kinda girly like and all but it doesn't bother him as he did enjoy her down to earth and kind-hearted nature and found her cool. Jackie and Inez are close with Willow almost seeing her as the aunt they never thought they needed, Willow loves cooking with them, teaching them the ways of her kingdom and showing her love towards the girls, treating them as her own family, the girls also acted as wingwoman for Willow after discovering her crush on Digit and all, they felt happy for her but didn't take any hesitation in teasing Willow either which caused a lot of embarrassment but it came from a good place, as the girls did learn to respect Willow's feelings and encouraged her to be herself and confess when she felt ready 100%."
Hacker: "Willow doesn't shy away and sugarcode for how much she can't stand and hates Hacker mostly with how much he's hurt and affected her kingdom and her family, with how much harm he's caused which began with the destruction of Nightopia all those years ago when Willow was only a baby bat, he ended up invading her kingdom and destroyed so many parts of her home which resulted in the death of her Grandmother. Although Willow was too young to understand the tragedy until she got older and learned the truth eventually it didn't stop her hatred and vendetta she had against Hacker mostly due to how egotistical, evil and selfish he was and how he spent his days all the time causing harm and annoyance towards everyone around including her, Hacker has known about Willow and her people for a long while mostly due to his history with Nightopia and the invasion he caused towards Willow and her people, so he takes pride in making Willow's life a living hell and causing her turmoil and annoyance, so it's clear both of them don't like one another in the slightest. And the times where The Cybersquad has to help and team up with Hacker, Willow declines and shoots the opportunity down immediately as she wants NOTHING to do with Hacker and especially doesn't wanna help him, but she'll soften up and do it if it's for a good reason and has no choice in the long run."
Buzz And Delete: "For as much as she doesn't like Hacker and has valid hatred for him, she actually doesn't hate his minions, Buzz and Delete even though they work for Hacker and always cause so much trouble for The Cybersquad. She actually has a lot of sympathy for them and feels bad for them, having to work and have care for a boss so full of himself and filled with so much evil in his heart, she feels those two had so much going for them and they could be doing so much more with their lives than working for Hacker. Out of the two, Willow definitely gets along with Delete the most as he can be a sweetheart and had so much love to give despite working for Hacker of all people, she sees some innocence in him and wishes he'd see his worth along with Buzz too. Delete ended up hiring and allowing Willow to be George's pet sitter as he was able to see how well she was with animals, especially with George as the little rabbit ended up taking a sweet liking to Willow after getting to know her a bit, while Willow gets along with Buzz well and has fun he's sorta almost a small turnoff for Willow mostly due to the fact that Buzz actually has a small crush on Willow and always tries his best to impress her, but Willow isn't interested in the slightest even though she's aware of his crush on her. She always lets him down gently while giving him some positive reassurance, but as a whole, while she doesn't 100% dislike the two she doesn't fully like them either (mostly Buzz) especially since there are times where she's kidnapped or used as bait against The Cybersquad even if Buzz and Delete tell her that it's nothing personal, just business is all."
Dr. Marbles: "Dr. Marbles has a lot of respect for Willow especially for her bravery and dedication to not only her worth but also for her kingdom, with how passionate she is even despite all the trauma and tragedy her family has faced in the past. Marbles acts as a key mentor and family friend to Willow as well, as he'll always provide guidance, technology, and care for her and her family, she's always honored and happy to help him out during his adventures with Digit and The Cybersquad to protect Motherboard from Hacker, with Willow often coming across as the heart of the team as she has a lot of love to give even despite everything, she's always looking out for others with Marbles being one of them as he's another one of the only people in her life who sees her worth and potential instead of her status which she's always struggled with, although Marbles isn't one of the people she's the closest too, she still has a lot of love and respect for him."
Motherboard: "Just like with Marbles, Motherboard also acts as a wise, magical, and maternal mentor to Willow, Motherboard accepts her as being part of the group with Willow often offering to help out the Cybersquad in helping to protect Motherboard and stop Hacker from taking over Cyberspace and his plans in general. Motherboard often offers spiritual guidance and emotional support to Willow, treating her almost like a granddaughter, Willow sees a lot of her late grandmother in Motherboard which adds a lot to her friendship and genuine emotional connection with her. Motherboard serves as a calming figure who helps Willow navigate through personal challenges and decisions, bridging the gap between her kingdom, her life, future and the whole universe itself."

On November 2nd, 1983...two-year old Liz Winchester woke up in the middle of the night looking for her mom and a cup of juice, but instead she had found the demon Azazel instead, changing the young girl's and her family's life forever.
Liz never quite could forget the monster that sung her a lullaby and slaughtered her mother in the same night...though she never talked it what she saw nor heard from that night. It almost felt like if she did...something worse than what happened that night would happen.
22 years later, Liz is now a hunter of the Supernatural. Along with her father and brothers, their own little family business...saving people and hunting things.
She still has nightmares about that night, but now its been getting worse, and more vividly. Almost like someone was trying to warn her that something is coming....coming for her and her brother.
One day, their father, John Winchester, suddenly goes missing so now her and her older brother, Dean must go get help from their younger brother, Sam, whose been away living his own life for four years, to help them find him.
However, when she finally reunites with her younger brother, she meets his girlfriend, Jessica, as well. Liz can't help but feel like she has seen her somewhere before but she can't remember from where.
