I know that in Manila there are already quite a few places that offers archery but here in Clark it's only at Oculus where you can try it. It's located just right beside the Mountain Clark Shooting Range (see post below for the review about this). Don't worry, it's a closed air conditioned room so you'll only hear very minimal shooting sounds. We are all archery virgins so we got excited and tried it too.
We had Kuya Ben to teach us the basics. While I was listening to him and looking how he does it I thought it's just was just as easy as eating peanuts but little did I know that's it's kinda tricky. It's tiring since you have to get the arrows after throwing it all in the target as well as it's hard for you to maintain a nice and consistent strike.
I can say that it's fun too because you also aim to hit the bulls eye but sadly my best shot was just a strike between the red and yellow line.. so I just call it "almost" bulls eye. 🙂 (not the photo below)
Personally, I enjoyed shooting more maybe because of the thrilling and heart pounding feeling while you holding a gun plus adrenaline rush when you already release a shot. Archery is slightly boring for me my personality. Hahaha!
