This one take me a lot because searching samurai content was not giving me what I was looking for! and while I was fighting with the search bar, I did had my fun learning a bit of Kenshin, I would love to try reading his story, people can change haha!

I wanna post later the experiment moodboars I did for this and Alfons.

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

Absolutely! I'd be fun! Although he'd cry about having another (occasional) Mitsu under his watch :') At the same time, I think it'd be lovely to cook together, and well, he'd love my cats.

11. Would you date this character?

Hmm... Probably? At the same time, it'd be a very "why have I done this, I've lost my sanity" feeling sometimes.

How do I put this? Masamune is a risk-taker, sometimes merely for the fun of it. However, he is also reliable, capable and can provide the sense of security. I think it'd be a matter of understanding that his iteration of danger is thrilling fun, and that he actually is not completely reckless. (To put it in contrast of danger sense brought by, say, recreational use of heavy drugs, alcohol abuse, gambling, etc.; In fact, I'd argue Masamune tends to be responsible when it actually matters.)

19. How about a relationship they have in canon that you don't like?

I can't think of any such relationship... Although sometimes I wince when Mitsuhide sneaks him sake. Just sometimes.

Hmm... At first-first I thought he may be written as just a thril-seeking flirt.

That understanding, of course, expanded. And... Whew. I don't want to write an entire essay here, but let's just say that the last element that I've added to this puzzle was that he experiences a lot of strong anxiety. I haven't added much onto my model of him since. So, yes, he seeks thrill, but there's a reason for that. And he craves affection. But he is also intelligent, charismatic, reliable, dedicated, hardworking, dedicated, self-sacrificial, and... plenty more!

Kind of an obvious answer, but the way they handle distress, both minor and major.

It is easy to be fake kindness and open-mindedness when everything goes according to your plan, so in my opinion, it all lies in sticking to your principles when it's actually hard to stick to them. What do they do when they're tired, when they are rejected, when they fail, when they accidentally cause harm, etc.

Analytical, critical, detached

Analytical -> fairly self-explanatory

Critical -> including self-critical

Detached -> currently I'm mostly in a position where I don't care much about plenty things that used to have some hold on me (how I am perceived, success, praise, etc). It's an odd place to be in, considering that I used to actively dislike being anything but exemplary, but oh well. I'm fairly mediocre all around, that's pretty fine too.

I've answered this a couple asks back. In short, it was heavy boots and handmade sweaters... But that does not cover for summer, so let me try!
