Intercity West Coast Motorail services in the early 1990's. An interesting titbit about these services is that following the introduction of push-pull working on West Coast services, southbound Motorail trains had an odd arrangement where the loco was sandwiched in the middle of the train between the coaches and the vans. The reason for this was to keep the vans at the rear of the train to facilitate unloading at Euston. Upon arrival at Euston, a class 08 shunter would move the vans over to the unloading dock to allow the cars to simply drive off the train.
