Just so people know where I stand
Queer is still a slur because it has not been reclaimed by everyone in the LGBT+ community
Queer is also an identity for the people in the LGBT+ community who are trying to/have reclaimed it for themselves
The term "queer community" is incorrect unless you are referring to a community of people who self-identify as queer
You can't call the LGBT+ community the queer community because queer is not fully reclaimed.
You can't call people queer unless they identify as queer. If you call someone queer just because they are LGBT+, you are using a slur and being gross
