It's Up to You Now

I think this will be my last post. There’s not much else to say. If you want the full story on what happened to me – what exactly makes these paintings so dangerous – I’ll leave a link. I wrote it all down because that experience, it’s a part of me but I don’t want it to be anyone else’s. If you read the story, you’ll know what I mean. But I still need your help to find the missing paintings.

I know none of you really have a reason to help me other than curiosity, but if you are curious, if you do want to help, here are some ideas. Whoever has this painting (and I have some ideas, contact me), chances are they’re probably experiencing something crazy, something they can’t understand. And what do most people do when they can’t understand something? They get help. I’ve been checking Tumblr, blogs, websites, Twitter, Facebook, but especially YouTube. People post all sorts of paranormal videos on there just for kicks.

The Problem and the Solution

I was lucky. Somehow, I managed to survive. I’ll thank four years of running based sport for that. But it comes down to luck. I was lucky but the next person might not have a soccer mom obsessed with ribbons and medals for a guardian angel. That’s why I need to find these paintings. Unfortunately, I’m still just a kid living under the roof of two decorated drill sergeants, so my investigative opportunities are limited.

This is where you come in, dearest reader. If we (yes, we’re a team now) don’t find this painting not only is someone genuine mortal life in danger we’re also playing with the risk that one of these portals wind up in the wrong hands.

When I say these shadow monsters are vicious, I mean it. They’re the tear your skin off and munch your bones to dust kind of vicious. They’re the things nightmares are made of. Their bodies are pitch black, like spilt ink that moves like smoke and their eyes glow blood red so brightly you can see them football fields away in the dark.

They’re slow enough in the daytime but when the sun goes down…well you’d better hope you’ve got a good head start. If they were set loose in our world…. We can’t let that happen and to make sure that never happens, we need to find the painting.
