The house may always win in Las Vegas, but when it comes to Westeros, there's more than one house to choose from. In the world of Game of Thrones, you win or you die, and oddsmakers are giving odds on both of those things in advance of the show's final season on HBO.
Bran Stark is apparently now the favorite among the betting crowd to end up on the Iron Throne.
It does make sense because as the Three-Eyed Raven he has the power to see what’s currently happening and know all of what has already happened. If you have knowledge of these things then you can take precautions to avoid the worst. Though Bran is currently like a computer which is one or two upgrades behind schedule. So there’s still some lag in his omniscience.
On the other hand, Bran does not seem hungry for power. He told Littlefinger in Season 7, “I’m not Lord Stark.” He exhibits more of a serene bemusement with his powers than ambition.
Bran’s current spot as the favorite is likely the result of fan theories currently being circulated. The popularity of such theories can have very short lifespans before others arise to displace them. Who can say, for example, that Bran won’t take a trip to the past to warn Robert Baratheon not to go boar hunting in Season 1? 😉
Does Isaac look a bit too comfortable here?
