odette hesitated, pausing in the doorway with her bag slung over her elbow and her eyes narrowing at the sight before her. "okay... did they just think we had incredible chemistry or something? one bed?" she pushed further inside of the hotel room, at the very least grateful to be out of the cold expanse of he airport. even if she knew now she was gonna miss her pageant for sure. The clasp has been reattached, her original work as pristine as they day she bestowed it upon him for Lady Galadriel. She aligns the tools in front of her of out meticulous habit, setting the silver leaf apart so that the metal can cool and set before it is returned to the archer. 

She knows that he does not bring it home in pieces on purpose, but Odette enjoys ruffling his feathers. They are both seasoned elves of a certain trade: Legolas with his bow and Odette with her stars. They saw the most of eachother when she fashioned his father’s crown.
