BLINK

NAME: UTP AGE: 26+ MUTATION: blink is able to teleport through portals she creates, alone or with other people. MUTATION ATTRIBUTES: her portals give out a bright blue, pink, and purple glow, while her hair has magenta highlights. her ears are also pointed, and her eyes green, with a purple mark on the right side of her face. FACTION: mutant underground FACECLAIM SUGGESTIONS: kang seulgi, han saebyeol, kim bora (sua)

BACKSTORY….

headstrong. opinionated. witty. blink joined the underground late (in comparison to others) and yet she’s very quickly worked her way up into the role of cell leader; given the usefulness of her powers. not much is known about her background (as she makes a habit out of telling a different lie every time she’s asked) but it is obvious that she, hunter, and dreamer are involved in some kind of love triangle.

tossed aside by her birth parents, blink herself isnt aware of the long history of her family’s line; nor the fact that they’re affiliated with the brotherhood. majority of her youth is spent in a foster home for unwanted mutants with equally unsightly attributes. and she, like her ‘siblings’ spend most of their years hidden away. after a rough run-in with purists, blink opted to escape the tiny town she grew up in and bounded for seoul. there, she made a living doing odd jobs for a mutant gang, their involvement with the brotherhood unknown to her. after departing from the gang, she was caught by sentinel services, though eventually escaping with the help of the underground; one of the few mutant fugitives who have ever done so.

RELATIONS…

HUNTER — things between her and hunter has been awkward since incident with dreamer. blink avoids him still, especially with the planted memory of them together still vivid in her mind.

DREAMER — though still frosty with dreamer, blink’s long forgiven her for the misdemeanor. still, she can’t help the innate paranoia that surfaces whenever dreamer’s around, somewhat afraid of what she can do with her memories. 

STEPFORD CUCKOOS — they know something very important about her and blink doesn’t like it at all.

ORPHAN

NAME: UTP AGE: 25+ MUTATION: orphan’s mutation allows him to make dupes of himself and all items of his person through kinetic energy upon impact (can be done through a hit or snapping his fingers etc). he also is able to control dupes (i.e. a “hive mind”) and have them do his bidding. MUTATION ATTRIBUTES: there are no distinctive physical attributes, only a slight blur when he duplicates. FACTION: mutant underground FACECLAIM SUGGESTIONS: song kang, nam yoonsu, jang kiyong

BACKSTORY….

greedy. selfish. guarded. orphan spent a lifetime on the streets perfecting his craft and his mutation. utilizing both his looks and boyish demeanor to win over the heart of unsuspecting passerbys and their unreasonably fat wallets. take care to know, however, he’s no robin hood. and had it not been for the fact that an unfortunate run-in with a sentinels service agent (literally, two of him running into the same guy) ended his career.

currently, he is situated within the mutant underground, otherwise squatting and biding his time for his arrest warrant to blow over. make no mistake though, he is here for him and himself only.

RELATIONS…

PLACEBO — orphan owes placebo money, simple as that. so it’s likely to say he’s unlikely to show up around placebo’s go-tos anytime soon. plus, his hallucinations always trip him out. scary dude.

SCALD — much like quicksilver, orphan finds amusement in teasing scald. even provoking her once into burning a dupe of himself to give her a scare about it.

QUICKSILVER — quicksilver and orphan became fast friends in the underground. given the fact that they both hummed at the same chaotic frequency. however, despite how close they may seem to the eyes of others, their friendship is still pretty surface level. basically, the kind of friend you’d rob a mini mart with, but not the kind of friend to have a heart to heart with.
