IBF Net Launches Its ePublication Program with Al-Quran Translation NFT The Indian coastal state of Odisha has a sizeable Muslim population today making up roughly 2.2% of the total population of about 50 million. A large section among Odisha's Muslims communicate in the Odia language. There has always been a dire need among these Muslims for Islamic education in Odia. Most of them do not understand the Quran that they read everyday. A couple of translation works undertaken decades earlier have practically disappeared from the scene and are not accessible anymore. Shakeel Ahmed, a retired government servant from Odisha founded Iqra Research Academy several years back to produce Islamic education materials in the Odia language with its most ambitious project being the translation of the Holy Quran into Odia and distribution of the same as widely as possible among Muslims and non-Muslims in the state. This magnificent project was completed in 2021. IBF Net is pleased to host this translation of the Holy Quran on its Affluence platform in the form of an NFT. - NFT on the blockchain will ensure the immutability and originality of the translated work. - Smart contracts would automatically transfer all contributions by buyers to further empower Iqra Academy to keep producing more works. - The work can be verified and traced back to Shakeel Ahmed for due recognition and feedback of his work. - We hope to enhance the outreach of this work by making it available in new markets, especially among the tech-savvy younger generation of the Odias. ओडिशा सरकार ने सोमवार को घोषणा की कि चक्रवात यास से पहले राज्य के छह जिलों में COVID-19 परीक्षण, टीकाकरण और घर-घर सर्वेक्षण निलंबित रहेगा। बालासोर, भद्रक, केंद्रपाड़ा, जगतसिंहपुर, मयूरभंज और क्योंझर जिलों में COVID-19 से संबंधित सभी चीजें निलंबित रहेंगी। बालासोर, भद्रक और मयूरभंज में 25 मई से 27 मई तक निलंबन लागू रहेगा।
