Reposted from @odiabhukkad The star of the thali is "sajana saga bhaja"/drum sticks leaves bhaji. Odias people eat a lot of different kinds of saga in various styles. I love sajana saga more than anything. It has been more than 2 years i have not been able to have this. While coming from nagpur i got a big bunch of them and cooked for dinner tonight. I added unpeeled garlic (little bit crushed) to hot oil along with mustard seeds ,fenugreek seeds and dry red chilli. Then added chopped potatoes and brinjals(small white ones) along with salt. Cover it and slow cook till all the veggies are done. Once the veggies are almost cooked add drumsticks leaves and cover it for 5 mins. Give nice stir and cover it more 5 mins till the leaves get cooked properly . Finish it with 2 tbsp full fat milk ,fresh grated coconut and chopped fresh green/red chillies. #atmashanti ☑rice, every day kind dal,alu bharta with onions ,mustard seeds red chilli tempering ,sajana saga bhaja, macha bhaja. #odiabhukkad #rice #dal #fishfry #alubharta #odiafoodie #tastemade #tastyrecipes #foodphotography #foodporn #foodie #nomnomnom #foodstagramming #foodgasmic #foodie #foodforthoughts #foodstyling #yummy #deliciousfood #yum #breakfast #instafoodie #instaeat #foodieadventure #lovefoods #dailyfoodfeeds #feedyoursoull https://www.instagram.com/p/CCLn4iGl9Q4/?igshid=1ht32v5t5jy17
