hello:D I hope you are doing well! I wonder if you know is there any description regarding to Odysseus’s palace? I have always wanted to draw Odysseus killing the suitors in the palace but I am not sure if there is any specific description about it

Hello! I'm so sorry I didn't get to answer this til now, but I'm really glad you asked this question!

There are bits of description in the text, but they're a bit obtuse: somewhere, there's a tiny passageway that goes to the gate (I think), and the store room (for weapons) is also quite close. The tables are also somehow big enough to hide behind when someone is shooting at you (I had a memorable lesson teaching that scene where I flipped a table that no one was sitting at)...

Earlier this year I had a small breakdown about the megaron (main throne room in Mycenaean palaces, presumably where the feasting happens because that's where it seems to occur in the Phaeacian palace and in Menelaus' home in the text) and what size it could have been:

So, while that might not actually answer your question, it might help you allow yourself some artistic licence for size and layout!
